This is their story—BD Wong of Law and Order: SVU officially tied the knot with longtime boyfriend Richert Schnorr on Sunday (cue the series's theme song).
According to The New York Times, the couple wed in Brooklyn, saying their vows alongside the East River at Italian restaurant Giando on the Water. Wedding guests were treated to prime views of the city skyline as they witnessed the ceremony, which Cantor Sheera Ben-David officiated.
Schnorr, the director of digital media for the New York Public Library, took to Instagram to debut a snippet of their wedding photos. The snapshot showcases the grooms holding hands and kissing in front of their outdoor altar, surrounded by florals and greenery. Wong opted for an all-black ensemble and pocket square for his wedding day look, while Schnorr took to a bow tie and metallic blazer.
"It really kinda is the happiest day of your life," Schnorr captioned the post. "Thanks to my family and friends for the love and words and support and dance moves. Thanks to @msanamatronic for the grooves. Thanks to @kealasettle for the pipes. Thanks to @liachangphotography for the 📸 Thanks to @wongbd for loving me."
He also re-shared plenty of guest posts to his own Instagram story, which showed the newlyweds busting a move and cutting the cake at the indoor reception. The white dessert featured four layers and a unicorn cake topper. Keala Settle of The Greatest Showman came to show her support for the pair, even performing at the wedding, according to People.
Wong, 57, and Schnorr, 35, met in 2010 in New York, while both attending a single mixers hosted by an online dating website.
Congratulations to the happy couple, and here's hoping Schnorr continues to take to social media to show off even more pictures from the big day.
