Maybe he can officiate the ceremony?

Leave it to Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez to have one of the most major celebrity engagements of all time.

First, there's the reportedly $1-$5 million ring—which, frankly, we're still not over. Then, there were the perfectly lit proposal photos. Now, they have the official blessing of Barack and Michelle Obama. It doesn't get much bigger than that.

Rodriguez took to Twitter to share a photo of the handwritten note the couple received from the former president with the caption, "This means so much to us. #44" Obama's sweet, thoughtful note offers congratulations from both he and Michelle Obama.

In case you can't read Obama's handwriting, here's what he wrote: "Michelle and I just wanted to congratulate you on your engagement. After 26 years together, we can say that whatever challenges life may bring, sharing them with someone you love makes it all better. All the best, Barack Obama.”

This is the fifth engagement for Lopez and will be A-Rod's second marriage, but we don't remember any of those relationships carrying a presidential seal of approval. Maybe they can ask Obama to officiate the ceremony, too?
