Say it ain't so! Bachelorette Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray have called off their engagement — and we're really emo about it.
"After several months of being engaged and working on our relationship, we have decided that it's best for both of us to go our separate ways," the couple revealed in a joint statement, People reports. "We are very sad that it has come to this point, but this is what's best for both of us individually. We will continue to be good friends and have nothing but great things to say about each other and wish each other the best."
Shock is an understatement when it comes to this news. This was one Bachelorette pairing that we thought would stick. After all, they were always very hands-on with each other, constantly flooding our social media streams with their adorable selfies, and even hail from the same town! It seemed like a match-made in ABC heaven.
And their pictures weren't just goofy selfies. Andi spent many weekends going to UGA and Kansas City Chiefs games to support Josh's younger brother, NFL player Aaron Murray. She was constantly with the Murrays, actually, and often could be found snuggling up to Josh's number one woman, his pup Sabel. And let's not forget how cozy they looked on the Bachelor premiere red carpet just this past Monday.
Just a few months back, it seemed like these two lovebirds couldn't wait to get married and start having babies. But more recently, Dorfman has been alluding to some relationship troubles, even saying just this Monday that they're holding off on wedding planning for now since the past year has been very hectic.
We're disappointed to say the least, and are left wondering: Does this mean Dorfman will reunite with runner-up Nick Viall? We'll have to wait and see!
