Are these two expectant parents already seeing blue? Former Bachelor Sean Lowe and his final rose sweetheart, and mom-to-be, Catherine Giudici, recently revealed they are expecting their first child together. And the expectant parents are now giving fans and followers even more to talk about — did these two just reveal the sex of their little bundle of joy?!
After Lowe spilled the news on his faith-based blog, Patheos, back in December about how the dad-to-be is, "Like most guys, I'm secretly rooting for a boy," the Bachelor alum has everyone, once again, hinting at a "something blue" outcome for this adorable twosome's future bundle of joy! The speculation started after Lowe posted a seemingly innocent Instagram photo that showed the dad-to-be cradling a sub from Jersey Mike's. The cryptic photo came paired with the caption, "He's here and he's beautiful!" It was the he that started it all when it came to breakingtheinternet over the couple's possible gender reveal slip-up.
Thankfully, it wasn't too long after the Bachelor alum posted the mysterious photo that one of Lowe's reps confirmed to E! News what was actually going on. "I'm sorry to disappoint but it was a post literally about his sandwich," Lowe's rep reports. "Neither he nor Catherine have any idea about the sex of their baby and they don't plan to find out until their baby is born. All they care about is a healthy and happy baby, that's it." Point taken.
The reality stars first revealed their exciting pregnancy news on Instagram back in 2015, by posting an adorable candid photo of the Bachelor pair lounging in their living room. The photo shows the expectant dad, touching his glowing wife's pregnant belly with the caption, "It's happening! I'm going to be a dad!"
"They want a calm, quiet pregnancy," an insider told E! News at the time. "They're not interested in making a spectacle of it, which is why they did the announcement on their social media. That was how they wanted to tell the world."
The adorable twosome, who wed in front of millions on live television during their live Bachelor wedding at the Four Seasons Biltmore in Santa Barbara, are "so excited" to be parents, revealed an insider to E! News, adding that the pregnant mom-to-be, is "glowing and feeling great" after not having suffered any pregnancy complications so far.
