There's nothing like watching a Bachelor in Paradise televised wedding with a glass of right-on-theme rosé in hand. (It's a guilty pleasure, okay?) And with the last couple from the reality TV franchise, Bachelor in Paradise's Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert, having tied the knot over a whole year ago, it's about fine time that another Bachelor Nation pair joined the ranks of Mr. and Mrs. Tolbert with some on-screen I do's. After also falling in love on the Bachelor spinoff, Bachelor in Paradise, season-three couple Evan Bass and Carly Waddel were expected to wed in a televised special during the upcoming season of the seaside-set series. However, with the surprising news that ABC has actually shut down production on Bachelor in Paradise, the fate of Carly and Evan's televised wedding hangs in the air. Will we ever get to see these two tie the knot?
Just last month, we lost one of our fave Bachelor couples when Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell announced their split. "It is with heavy hearts that we announce our decision to go our separate ways," Higgins and Bushnell said in a joint statement. And now we've also had to say goodbye to Bachelor in Paradise?! Life just isn't fair. E! News reports that production on the show has been halted due to an investigation into "allegations of misconduct." Well, that certainly doesn't sound like paradise.…
But after those two major Bachelor Nation losses, fans want to see a happily-ever-after for Carly and Evan more than ever. And, fortunately, that's exactly what they shall receive!
According to E! News, a handful of Bachelor in Paradise's production staff has stayed on the Mexico sands to help prep for and film Carly and Evan's wedding, which is rumored to be taking place later this week.
Phew! With the soon-to-be spouses previously teasing to E! that Bachelor Nation alumni Wells Adams, Jade Tolbert, and Juelia Kinney will be in the wedding party, and Vinny Ventiera, Shawn Booth, Kaitlyn Bristowe, Luke Pell, and Whitney Bischoff all scoring invites, this will be one can't-miss Bachelor reunion.
