Former Bachelor in Paradise star Ashley Iaconetti is getting ready to marry Jared Haibon later this year, and she celebrated with a bridal shower that had an incredibly fun theme: Her elegant get-together in Hollywood was a nod to romantic comedies from the '90s, including a few that have a special meaning for her and Haibon.

When Harry Met Sally is very special to me and Jared, and the other I feel like we particularly bond over is Jerry Maguire,” Iaconetti told People. “Truly, Jared may have been the only guy who ever had me at ‘Hello.’ It was love at first sight in a way I’ve never experienced before!”

It's a brilliant idea, especially because nothing gets people in a loving mood like all the sweeping, running-through-the-airport gestures of these films. Plus, the theme is perfect for Iaconetti and Haibon, since they had their own up-and-down romance with a meet-cute on the second season of Bachelor in Paradise. Iaconetti has said she had strong feelings from Haibon from the beginning, but the two went off and dated other people before eventually falling in love and getting engaged last June in Mexico.

The bridal shower, which was produced by Leila Lewis of Be Inspired PR and planned by Detailed Touch Events, featured a multi-course meal and tons of gorgeous, pink and white decorations. The guests played games together and spent time recounting their favorite memories of the couple.

“My favorite part was definitely the speeches. Troy [Williams], my wedding planner, started this whole chain of my friends giving anecdotes about times that Jared and I have interacted and how they came to know us,” Iaconetti said. “It’s just super sweet, and I love how everybody had such individual stories and represents a different chapter in our romance.”

The whole thing sounds so sweet—and as the wedding approaches, it's clear that they'll get their perfect happy ending, too.
