As we sit here downing the rosé, waiting for the next televised Bachelor Nation wedding (whenever that may be…), Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell are off earning their wedding-guest gold stars at the nuptials of some other head-over-heels couples. As we previously reported, the stars of The Bachelor are currently busy hosting Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings, a new Freeform special that's giving us a glimpse at the Cinderella weddings and storybook nuptials that Disney hosts around the globe. Thankfully, though, all that wedding talk and "I do" fun is getting this reality-show duo thinking more about their own nuptials. And while they (still…) have yet to set a date, it sounds like they know exactly what they want on their big day.
"I always thought that I wanted a small wedding. I thought, like, destination or honestly even eloping," the bride-to-be recently told Entertainment Tonight. "But after seeing the beautiful big wedding at the end of the show," she mused, referencing her and her hub-to-be's Disney wedding special, "I started to think, like, maybe I want a big wedding." And maybe a televised one too? (Please say yes…)
"I feel inspired to maybe start planning a wedding, start thinking about it," Bushnell also shared. "I thought I wanted a small wedding, and then I see this beautiful wedding pavilion inside with the view of the castle, and I was like, 'Wait, this is so beautiful. I could see myself getting married here.' It has opened my eyes to what I might want at my wedding," she said. Yes, yes, all the yes! We can see it now!
Meanwhile, Bushnell's groom has only one wedding-day requirement—and we're 100 percent behind it!
"The cake!" said Higgins. "My sole goal with the wedding is to make sure we have a good cake." Now, that's one wedding must-have we're sure his guests will appreciate!
"It's so funny. I didn't even think he had a sweet tooth until he laid eyes on this cake," Bushnell said of the confection shown on the upcoming Freeform show. "And now it's like you're a fiend…a cake fiend," she added. "Look at his eyes!"
"It's dangerous. I'm thinking about it," Higgins continued. "The icing was really smooth. It was nice."
LOL, such a groom move…
