Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon first met on Bachelor in Paradise in 2015, a spin-off reality show that puts together contestants from both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette to form new couples within Bachelor Nation. Since then, the two have had a tumultuous on-again, off-again relationship, but finally got it all together back in March and are now happily engaged. The engagement—which, of course, included a Neil Lane–designed ring—will all air on the upcoming fifth season of the show where their love first began.

And because their relationship blossomed on camera, giving Bachelor fans three years of captivating twists and turns, it seems only natural that the two would say "I do" on camera as well—and it seems like that might just happen. “I think we’re both down for [a televised wedding], but our caveat is that we want as many guests as we want and we don’t want to have to be limited to that,” Iaconetti, 30, said on a recent episode of her and Ben Higgins’s Almost Famous podcast, per Us Weekly. “So if we couldn’t have it the way we imagined, that’s the only reason we wouldn’t do it ...

We want it, we want it.”

Iaconetti also revealed that she was totally surprised by the proposal. “I had an inkling, I was, like, 50-50. I thought it was going to happen for a couple weeks leading up to it, and then the week of, everyone was throwing me off,” she said. “So I knew that Jared would ask my dad, he always said he would ask my dad. But I talked to my parents and they’re like, ‘Ashley, he did not call.’ Total straight faces. [But] he did call. My parents are apparently really good actors." Apparently, Jared is also great at keeping a poker face.

"That’s the other crazy part is that he didn’t seem nervous at all,” Iaconetti said. “I know he’s a good actor, though."

Regardless of if the wedding will be televised or not, the officiant is definitely going to be someone fans all know. "We're keeping it in the Bachelor family," Iaconetti hinted last week. Haibon also said that the person is someone who is "very near and dear to our hearts." We can't wait for this Bachelor version of a royal wedding!
