Bachelor Nation alums Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon’s engagement will officially air on the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise, but the happy couple is so excited they are already sharing some proposal details.
"Of course there were tears!" Iaconetti told Entertainment Tonight. "That's kind of a dead giveaway."
"We have to hide it for a little bit!" she said of the Neil Lane sparkler. "It's just not here as of right now," her husband-to-be explained. "But there is a metaphorical ring on her finger."
"It already feels weird to not have it on," added Iaconetti.
Ring or no ring, it doesn’t make this duo any less in love. "The fact that we get to call each other 'fiancé is probably the biggest difference," Iaconetti said.
Haibon added, "There hasn't been a difference in our relationship which is pretty cool but you know I just fall in love with her more and more every day...We just got engaged so I think we're just soaking that in right now and really enjoying our time together."
They might be soaking in all those freshly engaged feelings, but don’t expect a long engagement from these two—we’re looking at you, Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth. Iaconetti and Habion said they will move in together "in a couple months from now," and want to tie the knot sometime in 2019.
Even though the proposal is top secret, the couple is free to dish on some early wedding ideas, including Iaconetti's bridal style. The bride-to-be said she's "pretty set on a princess dress."
In addition to the bride’s sure-to-be-gorgeous gown, the couple also already has "somebody in mind" to officiate. "We're keeping it in the Bachelor family," Iaconetti hinted. Haibon added that the person is someone who is "very near and dear to our hearts."
They neither confirmed or denied if this special somebody was Chris Harrison, but we can only hope.
