The sour love story between Bachelor in Paradise stars Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon finally turned sweet after the couple got engaged in last month, and they are moving full speed ahead with wedding planning.

In a recent Good Morning America interview, the reality stars revealed some of their latest wedding plans. Iaconetti said they are “liking the sound of August 2019” for the wedding, and leaning toward tying the knot in Haibon’s home state of Rhode Island. She also mentioned that she is looking forward to trying on wedding dresses for the first time soon.

The couple brought up (once again) the possibility of having their nuptials televised so all of Bachelor Nation can be a part of it. Haibon told GMA, "The reason I met the love of my life is because of 'Bachelor.' And so I'm always indebted to them for that."

This groom-to-be has a lot to be thankful for given he and Iaconetti’s tumultuous love story. The two first met on Bachelor in Paradise in 2015 with many of their encounters ending in tears—Iaconetti was unabashedly into Haibon, who, up until recently, only saw Iaconetti as a friend. Iaconetti finally met someone new during Bachelor Winter Games.

"I still thought, 'This guy needs to figure out whether this is out of jealousy.' And I also deserve to date somebody else after all these years, and all of these tears I shed over him," Iaconetti said. "I was like, 'This other person I'm dating has been into me, and wanting to like, commit to this from the get go.'"

Although she welcomed the change of pace, things ultimately didn’t work out and Iaconetti gave Haibon one last chance. The timing was clearly right this time since their love story ended with a romantic beach proposal in Mexico during filming for the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise.

“I think one of the biggest things that I had to put aside in my pursuit of Ashley was all the shame and guilt I think that really consumed my life for the past couple of years,” Haibon said. “It was very difficult to tell whether I was doing the right thing and whether I was making the right decisions. We had really a lot of adult conversations, tough conversations about what we meant to each other, who we are in each other’s lives.”

While it took Haibon a little longer to realize his now fiancé was his happily ever after, Iaconetti stands by knowing he was the one from the very beginning. "I knew it guys!” she said. “See I knew there was something more.”

Now that they are on the same page, this couple isn’t wasting any time. Beyond wedding planning, they are family planning. The two revealed they want either two or three children.

"We know the name of one of them ... but I'm not putting it out there," Iaconetti said. "It's a boy name but if we're going onto our third kid and it's a third straight girl, we're definitely using it."

Haibon said, "It's a name very important to her that I really like too."

Until that happens, Iaconetti and Haibon are excited just to share their life together. "I feel incredibly lucky and grateful that everything's worked out, because I'm engaged and couldn't be happier to the love of my life, to the most amazing human being on this world," Haibon said. "And so I just feel like a very, very lucky man."

"I'm so lucky," Iaconetti added. "Seriously, every single day I'm like, 'I don't know how I'm this lucky. I am so blessed.'"
