The songstress and The Hunger Games actor were wed at the Greenwich, Connecticut estate of Ross's iconic mother, Diana Ross, as confirmed by People. The legendary singer also serenaded the guests at the ceremony.
Friends and family shared the special moment with the couple including Simpson's son, Bronx, who led her down the aisle, and her older sister, Jessica Simpson, who was her matron of honor. Jessica's children also had important roles in the wedding as her two year-old daughter Maxwell served as the flower girl, while her 14 month-old son Ace was the ceremony's ring bearer. The night's emcee was Ross's older sister, Tracee Ellis Ross, and the bridesmaids' looks were anchored with shoes from Jessica Simpson's eponymous collection.
The bride wore a long-sleeve wedding dress with pearl embellishments, plus $750,000 worth of Neil Lane jewelry including rubies, diamonds and a tiara. (This continued her love for the famed designer as he created her engagement ring.) Loose waves completed the bride's ensemble. The groom opted for a black velvet tuxedo with white silk trim. The couple injected their signature boho style into the décor with a mix-and-match palette and dream catchers.
Simpson and Ross announced their engagement on Twitter back in January after almost a year of dating. Of the unforgettable moment, Ross tweeted, "The love of my life said YES!!!!!!", while Simpson posted, "My baby love and I are ENGAGED!!! Hallelujah Hawaii!!!"
