Although he's dethroned Juan Pablo as one of the most hated contestants of The Bachelor following last season's dramatic/awkward finale, Arie Luyendyk Jr. is well on his way to living out his reality TV happy ending. Arie, who dumped current Bachelorette star Becca Kufrin for runner-up Lauren Burnham, will walk down the aisle this January. And, in honor of less than six months until the big day, both Lauren and her race car driver fiancé took to Instagram to share a sneak peek of their gorgeous engagement photos.
The pictures, taken by photographer Jennifer Perkins of Griffith Imaging, feature the all-smiles couple sitting in a field, with Lauren sporting a perfectly bridal white mini dress and Arie donning a striped t-shirt and jeans. The snapshot Lauren shared to her personal Instagram shows Arie sweetly kissing her on forehead as she holds his face, emphasizing her engagement ring. "It’s now just under six months till I marry this sweet man," she captioned the post. "He’s been the biggest blessing in my life every single day. #truelovewins."
Arie chose a much more candid snippet to reveal via Instagram, sharing an engagement photo of the glowing pair canoodling and laughing. "One step closer to the wedding :) This is what life is all about, sharing these amazing moments with her," he wrote. "Under 6 months until the big day! #engagementphotos."
The couple announced their wedding date and venue—"JanuLAURIE" 12 in Maui—at the end of May. While the ceremony won't be televised (much to the disdain of Bachelor Nation fans), Arie posted a sneak peek of the couple's jaw-dropping venue, Haiku Mill. "Can’t wait to make @laureneburnham my wife ❤️ This is the incredible venue for our wedding JanuLARIE 12th!" he captioned the photo.
Aside from shooting their engagement photos, the couple recently crossed another milestone off their list—buying a house together. Arie and Lauren posed in front of their new humble abode, and took to Instagram June 24 to spread the news. "Officially new home owners!🏡" Lauren wrote with the post.
Cheers to Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham for giving us hope in reality TV love, and we wish more than anything that Chris Harrison makes the wedding guest list.
