The Bachelor’s Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham Are Considering Eloping in Vegas

Guess who's not invited...

THE BACHELOR - "The Bachelor: After the Final Rose" - Arie's soul-searching journey continues after America followed the chaos of his being in love with two women, which played out in gut-wrenching fashion, on "The Bachelor: After the Final Rose," a two-hour live special, TUESDAY, MARCH 6 (8:00-10:01 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network. These two are wasting no time. The Bachelor’s Arie Luyendyk Jr. went from calling off his engagement to Becca Kufrin, the new Bachelorette, on Monday’s season 22 finale, to proposing to Lauren Burnham on Tuesday’s After the Final Rose. Now, the newly engaged couple is already planning their wedding (presumably before Arie changes his mind again). But, much like their reality TV relationship, the couple is considering going the non-traditional route when it comes to their vows by eloping in Las Vegas.

“We want to get married soon, and we also talked about eloping,” Burnham told PEOPLE magazine. Luyendyk added, “We’ve talked about running away to Vegas.”

Viva Las Vegas seems like a good option for Luyendyk who enjoys making a spectacle of things (like breaking-up with a woman on national television). But the couple has also mapped out a plan B—a more traditional wedding.

Luyendyk—who caused quite a stir on social media this week—said they’ve talked about an evening or a sunset wedding with lighting and flowers being their main priorities. Bachelor Nation might even get to take part in it. (But considering that Luyendyk may have stolen the Most Hated Bachelor crown from the dreaded Juan Pablo, would they really want to?)

“We talked a little bit about maybe doing a TV wedding if that works with our timeline,” Luyendyk said. Of course they did.

Burnham and Luyendyk are planning to wed by the end of the year, as the bride-to-be moves out to Scottsdale, Arizona to join her fiancé in the real estate biz. After that, they might start preparing for little Arie Jrs. According to PEOPLE, in addition to wedding planning, the couple has also talked about family planning.

“We’re both very excited about marriage and starting a family,” Burnham said. And a big family at that. Luyendyk said he wants two to four kids. “If we get lucky, maybe we’d have twins!” (Oh God, no.)

As they work to nail down all the details of their future, there is one thing they definitely settled on: the wedding guest list. Luyendyk said he’s okay with Burnham inviting her Bachelor gal pals—all except for one.

“Becca, she’s not invited.”

Guess what, Arie? We're pretty sure Becca would rather get a root canal than attend your wedding. #Sorrynotsorry.
