We've known that Amy Schumer has had a soft spot for engagement photo shoots ever since the comedian photobombed one couple's Central Park engagement session this summer. And perhaps that stunt was the inspiration behind Schumer's latest foray into poking fun at pre-wedding pics. In a new video, Schumer plays a bride-to-be posing for engagement photos with her fiancé, and, in doing so, captures both the hilarity in forced romantic pictures and the annoyance of seeing these photos pop up nonstop in your Facebook newsfeed — just in time for engagement season, no less!
This deleted scene from season three of her show Inside Amy Schumer depicts the funny lady spoofing on the entire idea of engagement photos. The Trainwreck star and her on-screen fiancé — notice they're wearing matching outfits (a big no no!) — is meeting their photographer, played by Girls actress Jemima Kirke, for the first time. Schumer's fiancé appears to be clueless about the whole concept of engagement photos, asking if they're a "thing." Kirke sets him straight.

"Engagement shoots are the single best method to rub your happiness in the fat townie face of every single person you went to grade school with," Kirke says in the video, and then they get started.
Kirke instructs them to start posing under a tree, because when people are engaged, "they hang out under trees." And it gets even funnier from there, with Kirke screaming at them to "look more in love than anyone has ever been" and for Schumer to make herself look tiny, "like a baby, covered in placenta" and then for Schumer to be dead weight in her fiancé's arms.
Even for total engagement photo fans like us, we have to admit that Schumer's parody of the process is downright hilarious. Watch the full (NSFW) clip above and be prepared to LOL.
