Looks like it was a busy weekend for Alison Brie and Dave Franco: The couple secretly got married! After getting engaged in 2015 and giving us major hints that we would never see a wedding, Brie and Franco confirmed to People magazine that they are now married.
While few details on the couple's wedding day have emerged, we can imagine it was filled with their famous friends and family. (Franco is, of course, little brother to Pineapple Express star James Franco.) Franco and Brie happen to be one particularly silent couple when it comes to wedding plans and their romantic relationship. After they dated for three years, Franco popped the question to the former Mad Men actress in August 2015 and slipped a sizable rose-gold sparkler on her finger. Since then, the two have been tight-lipped over their wedding plans. Brie is a self-proclaimed "not very bridal" sort of gal and never really saw herself tying the knot until she met her hubby-to-be. "Marriage never really interested me," she previously divulged to Yahoo Style, "I guess because I was very focused on my work. I wasn't sure if I really saw the point to it." But now Brie's a bona fide bride, and we've been anxiously awaiting her walk down the aisle.
For his part, the groom was equally hesitant about major wedding plans. Last year the Neighbors actor told E! Online that they were seriously considering eloping. "We keep kinda paring it down," Franco shared, "to the point we might elope. It just seems easy, and simple, and nice," he explained. "I don't need a big wedding. I don't want a big wedding."
The couple has been dating since 2011 and have been famously quiet about their relationship status. For example, both attended the 2015 Met Gala in March but walked the red carpet separately. In 2013, the duo costarred in a video for Funny or Die called "Dream Girl."
Hopefully that doesn't mean we'll have to wait forever for a wedding-dress pic!
