Talk about a love song! It looks like musical superstar Adele is serving up more than tear-jerking songs during her worldwide tour. The Grammy winner couldn't help but share her sweetest sentiments when a couple got engaged at her concert...which just so happened to take place during one of her songs!
Leave it to one of the world's most talented, and emotional, singers to create the perfect atmosphere for two very lucky audience members to share in an unforgettable moment. It wasn't until Adele noticed some lights flashing from the audience at her latest show that she realized someone was causing a commotion. Little did the "25" singer know that it was all due to matters of the heart! During her concert at London's O2 Arena Tuesday night, Adele's hit single "Make You Feel My Love" took on a whole new meaning for one very happy couple.
A touching video (below) captured the British singer's bewildered face as she realizes that her song is acting as live background music to a wedding proposal, E! News reports. After realizing the cause of the commotion, the BRIT award winner couldn't help but vocalize her sentiments to the entire audience. "Come up here you two," shared the emotional songstress, as she stopped before even finishing the song, "Are they coming? Did you just get engaged? Oh god!" The hilarious and outspoken artist couldn't help but add her familiar cheeky commentary to the situation adding, "I thought there was a fight at first."
The adorable, and completely shocked, couple proceeded to take the stage in an effort to conduct an impromptu interview with the emotional Grammy winner. "'Make You Feel My Love' was our song," said the newly engaged pair, who were also celebrating their child, and over 12 years together. "Congratulations. I'm so happy for you," Adele said, jokingly adding, "So you've been going out longer than I've been making music." As the bride-to-be flashed her gorgeous new sparkler on the arena big screen, Adele helped to cap-off the entire emotional evening by sharing, "That was one of he most beautiful things I've ever witnessed at one of my shows. Thank you so much for doing that."
