Adele Posts Hilarious Meme About Feelings Amid Divorce From Simon Konecki

Adele is doing just fine following news of her divorce, thank you very much!

The “Hello” singer, 30, seemingly broke her silence on her split from estranged husband Simon Konecki with a hilarious meme on Instagram on Wednesday, May 1.

The captionless post shows side-by-side photos; one of the 15-time Grammy winner mid-sob and the other of her enthusiastically pointing her finger at the camera during a "Carpool Karaoke" session taken in 2016.

“When you catch yourself in your feelings then you remember who you are,” the meme read, seeming to give some insight into her current state of mind during the breakup. (Goals.)

Reps for the songstress previously confirmed in a statement to the Associated Press that she and the Drop4Drop CEO, 45, with whom she shares son Angelo, six, are ending their marriage of three years. “Adele and her partner have separated,” the statement read. “They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment.”

A source also gave E! News some insight into their split, telling the outlet, "They had a lot in common early on, but...She became a bigger and bigger star, and he was OK [with] being in the background, but as she got bigger and had massive tours and intense schedules, they just grew apart."

Adele revealed during a speech at the 2017 Grammys that she had secretly tied the knot with the entrepreneur after months of speculation.

"Grammys, I appreciate it, the Academy, I love you, my manager, my husband, and my son—you’re the only reason I do it," she said at the time.

As sad as the couple's breakup may be, one need only listen to her musical catalog to know she's bounced back from lost love before—her failed relationship with a different ex-boyfriend served as the inspiration for her aforementioned smash 2011 album, 21.

Fingers crossed she channels all those feelings into some new tunes (or more memes)!
