Happy 35th birthday, Adam Levine! We can't believe that the hunky Voice judge, Maroon 5 frontman, and reigning Sexiest Man Alive is halfway through his 30's. More importantly, we're (still) stunned that he's engaged to Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo. Levine surprised us all, including Prinsloo, when he proposed with a vintage engagement ring just weeks after the on-again-off-again couple reunited last July. And yet, eight months later, the comely couple is as happy as ever.
Will 35 be the year that Levine becomes a husband? It's hard to tell. Back in October, Prinsloo was characteristically nonchalant about planning a wedding. "I'm so laid back — my mind has been going but we haven't talked about anything!" she told Us Weekly. "We're just so excited in this moment! I'm like, 'Yikes!'"

Surely, they've made some progress since then. While we anxiously await any and all wedding details from Prinsloo or Levine, we'll reflect on why they're such a great couple and why we can't wait for the birthday boy to get married!
1. They're a dynamic duo. The pair showed up hand in hand to Vanity Fair's Oscar party earlier this month and made quite the entrance. Prinsloo, slim and stunning in her dark red Calvin Klein gown, was the perfect companion for the dapper Levine. There's a lot of pressure on high-profile couples at red carpet events, but they clearly thought nothing of it. "They had their arms around each other," an eyewitness told Us Weekly of the couple. "They were having a great time."
2. They support each other. It wouldn't be hard for any guy to play the role of supportive boyfriend if his wife or fiancé was an underwear model, but Levine went above and beyond at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in November. Levine sat front row from prime viewing of Prinsloo's runway strut. The Maroon 5 frontman cheered and led a standing ovation as his love walked by. She appreciated it, too: Prinsloo grinned when she spotted her man and pumped her arms with excitement two different times. His exuberant attendance gave her the extra confidence she needed for such a high-pressure performance.
3. She made an honest man out of him. Before Prinsloo, Levine was a notorious modelizer. Though she's also a model, something about the Namibian stunner changed Levine's outlook on love. "I remember talking to you one time, you telling me you were never going to get married, and now you're engaged," Jay Leno said to Levine during his October Tonight Show appearance. "Tell me what happened here." Levine, laughing, said, "Famous last words: 'I'll never get married.' You know, I still don't think you have to get married, unless you meet someone that makes you want to marry them. And then you marry them and it's wonderful."
4. They put the "play" in "playful." They're pretty to look at, but they also have a sense of humor. Prinsloo often posts Instagrams of Levine goofing off, plus she knows how to keep his ego in check. The model's reaction to finding out her guy was named People's Sexiest Man Alive was priceless. "Laughter, a lot of laughter," Levine said of her response. "She's keeping me humble."
Attractive, goofy, and committed? We can only imagine the kind of blow-out wedding bash this pair will plan. Whenever it does happen, we know she'll look gorgeous in her wedding dress. Until then, happy birthday, Adam!
