During an interview with Extra on Wednesday, January 23, the star revealed that she and her husband, whom she only referred to as Rory, said their "I do's" in an intimate ceremony, which included the couple's daughter and Ferguson's 11-year-old son, Issac, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Ludwig Hallberg.
“I think we both wanted to step over all thresholds. Also, I’m not very religious. I believe in love,” Ferguson, 35, said of her big day. “It was more for us and our family. We rented a cottage with friends and family and Wellington boots and big wooly socks and big ruggy jumpers...”
Isaac served as the ring bearer for the ceremony, while her daughter slept through the entire thing! Ferguson told the publication that she wore bridal separates for the big day.
“I wore a beautiful skirt, a wedding skirt, that I can shorten off, get some pockets in, and use in Greece for the summer!” she revealed.
Though the two are loving married life, Ferguson said that she and her now-husband's relationship hasn't changed at all.
“We keep saying, ‘Hey, hubby!’ ‘Hey, wifey!'” she said. “It’s just fun.”
The actress, who is currently promoting her upcoming film The Kid Who Would Be King, gave birth to her second daughter over the summer. Ferguson previously opened up about being a mom in Hollywood.
“[My son] comes to the set, I go off and leave him with the stunt guys and I come in and he’s hanging off a harness somewhere. He loves it, but I don’t think he would like to act,” Ferguson told the Belfast Telegraph in October 2017. “I do worry that I’m going to mess it up for my son, we usually do, don’t we? We always make mistakes. I think we look at our backgrounds and I think, what didn’t I like about myself and what can I change?”
The Kid Who Would Be King premieres Friday, January 25.
