It was the opposite of a crisis situation Saturday afternoon when Crisis star Lance Gross and fiancée Rebecca Jefferson tied the knot romantic ceremony near Los Angeles.
According to E! News the 2 p.m. ceremony featured heartwarming vows and limited edition cognac gifts, courtesy of Hennessey, for special wedding guests like Terrence Jenkins, Kelly Rowland and husband Tim Weatherspoon.
An anonymous source told E! News, "It was a perfect night for the two and they couldn't ask for a better wedding. Everyone was dancing the night away."
From the photos of the big day it looks like Jefferson wore a classic ruched sweetheart mermaid gown down the aisle, and slipped into something a bit sexier for the reception (which we could swear came straight off of Galia Lahav's bridal runway!). As for Gross, he rocked head-to-toe Tom Ford. He revealed the designer of his wedding-day outfit to his fans, who know him from Crisis, House of Payne and even a guest spot on Grey's Anatomy, with an Instagram post highlighting a number of closed Tom Ford boxes.
The couple were engaged — and announced they were expecting their first child — in July 2014. At that time, Gross posted to Instagram, "God has gifted me. It's like I get to unwrap you daily. Your presence continues to bring me joy each time without exhaustion. I am in love with you."
And just days before their wedding, on Mother's Day, the bride posted her own intimate Instagram message: "Today was so beautiful. My very first Mother's Day was one filled with laughter, family, priceless moments and love. Thank you baby for making today so special — still smiling @LanceGross."
Congrats to the happy couple!
