Day 10: Have a Workout Plan B
"With so much going on, regular workouts are often one of the first things people ditch," says Beverly Hills celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson. "Something pops up unexpectedly and suddenly it's sayonara spinning class."
A good way to prevent that from happening — and keep your workouts on track — is to have a backup plan.
Keep a bag of workout clothes in your car or office, so if you can't make it to the gym in the morning, you can fit it in at lunch, or on your way home. Or pick up a pair of dumbbells and keep them in your living room, so if all else fails, you can do strength moves while you watch TV at night. Pepper some jumping jacks or mountain climbers in between your toning exercises and you can get a totally legit strength-and-cardio workout while you watch American Idol.
