While we love seeing gowns make their way down the runways each season, there's another element of Bridal Fashion Week we love: the accessories! From headpieces to veils, there were a plethora of accessory trends we drooled over this season, and of course, we're sharing the most stunning trends with you.
The Spring 2022 collections did boast some of our favorite accessories from seasons past like headbands and bridal gloves, proving that those details can stand the test of time. But the designers are also giving brides new accessories to try. Not into veils? Try a sheer cape instead. Want to give your bridal look some edge? Consider this a sign to wear a belt.
Ahead, 8 bridal accessories we saw on the Spring 2022 virtual runways to provide the perfect finish touch to your wedding day look.
Belts
We know what you're thinking: Belts and bridal don't go together. But if this season is any proof, they are actually a match made in heaven. We saw designers give various interpretations of the trend, too. Both Yolancris and Weiderhoft showed modern leather belts while Romona Keveza chose to accessorize some of her looks with thin sparkly bands. Lihi Hod even went with a belted sash! The point is, belts are in and the trend can suit any bridal style.

Sheer Capes and Coats
The cape trend has come and gone—and now it is back again (and better than ever)! A unique alternative for a veil, so many designers presented sheer capes and coats this season. There are casual versions like the short embroidered cover-up from Alexandra Grecco (it pairs perfectly with a mini dress!), or more regal styles like the floor-skimming cloak from Mira Zwillinger.

Detached Sleeves
Detachable sleeves are a tried-and-true bridal trend, but this season designers swapped the typical, dainty off-the-shoulder straps for more unique styles. We noticed beautiful bow sleeves at Markarian and Lihi Hod, and sleek long satin sleeves at Rivini by Rita Vinieris. Ines by Ines Di Santo even took the look up a notch with detached sheer balloon sleeves.

Gloves
Gloves may feel like a winter wedding necessity, but the accessory isn't bound to a particular season. Brands like Odylyne the Ceremony and Justin Alexander designed sheer gloves suited for breezy spring days, and blazing summer ceremonies alike. A bold look for the fashion-forward bride!

Floral-Embroidered Veils
As true with any bridal season, veils dominated the lookbooks. But we also noticed that the classic wedding day accessory received a much-needed upgrade, thanks to floral embroidery. From Marchesa Notte to Naeem Khan, gorgeous floral lace-trimmed veils were everywhere and they couldn't be more perfect for spring!

Floral Headbands
For Spring 2022, the increasingly popular bridal headband trend is getting a fresh floral upgrade, and designers like Marchesa and Markarian are paving the way. Boho brides may be attracted to the flower crown-esque accessories Sareh Nouri presented, while unconventional brides may favor Halfpenny London's floral felt headpieces. Either way, flowers deserve to be in your hair on your wedding day (and yes, you can still wear a veil if you want to!).

Pearls
We saw pearls make their way into wedding dress designs a few seasons ago, and now the gemstone has infiltrated the world of accessories. But these are not your grandmother's string of pearls. Rather, incorporate them into your hair accessories as shown by Temperley London and Eisen-Stein, or don a pearl-encrusted veil or belt.
