If you're looking for your something new or your something blue, you're in luck. Because cult-favorite shoe designer Loeffler Randall—beloved by brides and bridal parties alike—has now added a light blue hue (the brand also offers 11 other colorways) to their most popular bridal shoe styles.

The brand has become an increasingly attractive shoe choice for weddings over the last few years for a bevy of different reasons—comfort and a stunning design being at the top of the list. In fact, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner wore the Penny Mules in gold during her legendary and much talked about (thanks to Diplo) Vegas nuptials to musician Joe Jonas.

The actress styled her shoes with a modern white silk jumpsuit and headband. "She looked beautiful and the gold really popped with her jumpsuit," says Jessie Randall, Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Loeffler Randall.

About the Brand

According to the founder, Loeffler Randall was born out of her desire for beautiful shoes that also offer support and comfort. And once brides caught on that the chic styles were perfect for hours of dancing, LR started designing with weddings in mind.

"We have become much more intentional about our design and merchandising process specifically for the category in recent years as bridal has become such a large part of our business," Randall tells Brides. "Each season we give time and attention finding the most beautiful colors and raw materials for our collection and also try to design the most compelling shoes, bags, and hair accessories for the big day."

Their Shoes

This season, the company offers 12 color options—summer brides, take note—in existing designs, including their three most popular styles: the Camellia, Penny, and Dhalia. "I tend to gravitate towards neutral colors, and this season we have some exciting developments in terms of colors," says Randall. The new shades include Beauty (blush pink), Platinum, Tan Floral, and Something Blue (which now has a waitlist of over 1,000 people!).

What really sets LR's shoes in a class above (and makes them Turner-approved) is their fine craftsmanship and close attention to detail. Randall tells us that the Camellia shoe has 400 pleats made from luxe materials. Their fabrics are also manufactured through two different pleating machines before their signature bows are hand-knotted. The brand also allows embossing initials or a special message into the footbed, making these a beautiful, sentimental gift or keepsake for brides.

Made for Weddings

The line's legendary comfort cannot go without another mention—it's the reason they're so beloved by brides. A gorgeous, stylish, timeless shoe that is also comfortable may sound too good to be true, but, with Loeffler Randall, you're guaranteed to look and feel your best throughout the entirety of your special day. And as a former bride, Randall knows how important this sentiment is.

"If you’re not physically comfortable I think it can impact everything. I got married before we started our company, and so I didn’t wear Loeffler Randall. I loved the shoes I wore but they were so uncomfortable," recalls Randall. "I was near tears by the end of the night and could barely stand up. That’s not an experience you want for your wedding, and if you wear Loeffler Randall, you won’t."

So how in the world do these shoes keep you comfortable all day from your trip down the aisle to cutting the cake to dancing the night away? "Our shoes are comfortable from the padding we use in our footbeds, the raw materials we use, and our attention to heel heights, shoe pitch, and heel stability." (Again, attention to detail is crucial.)
