Sophia Bush is no longer a single woman! The One Tree Hill alum said “I do” to forever with Grant Hughes on Saturday, June 11 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, People reports. The Tulsa County Court Clerk confirms to Us Weekly that the couple bought their marriage license on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, and they returned the document on Monday, June 13, 2022.
The pair tied the knot at the Philbrook Museum of Art, a historic Italian Renaissance-style villa surrounded by 25 acres of gardens, according to Us Weekly. After swapping vows, the newlyweds celebrated at The Church Studio for their reception.
The star-studded guest list included celebrities, such as Colton Underwood and fiancé Jordan Brown, Aaron Paul, and Bush’s former One Tree Hill co-stars, Danneel Ackles and Hilarie Burton.
The wedding comes less than one year after the duo got engaged. Hughes popped the question while the pair was vacationing in Lake Como, Italy in August 2021. “So it turns out that being your favorite person’s favorite person is the actual best feeling on planet Earth 💫 #YES,” Bush posted on Instagram.
Bush and Hughes were first linked in May 2020 when they were spotted holding hands in Malibu. For the most part, the two have kept their relationship private. “It’s hard to have nothing that’s yours,” she shares with Entertainment Tonight. “And when you are a person who lives in the public eye, everybody wants to pick over everything, and that can be really tricky.”
The star’s wedding to Hughes marks the second time she’s been hitched. From 2005 to 2006, she and One Tree Hill co-star Chad Michael Murray were married. Bush opened up to Smallville alum and Inside of You podcast host Michael Rosenbaum last year about the short-lived marriage. “I was a very naive 21-year-old kid, and that’s all there is to it,” she says.
We’re so thrilled Bush has found love again! Congratulations to the happy couple!
