"Jost Married" is the unexpected wedding announcement that's here to brighten up your week. Whether you're ScarJo fan or not, it's been a rough year for weddings so finding out two of Tinseltown's favorites got hitched is enough to bring anyone some joy. Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost surprised everyone today with the news of their union via the Instagram account for Meals on Wheels America. The caption revealed that the couple sealed the deal in an intimate ceremony over the weekend.
"We’re thrilled to break the news that Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost were married over the weekend in an intimate ceremony with their immediate family and love ones, following COVID-19 safety precautions as directed by the CDC. Their wedding wish is to help make a difference for vulnerable older adults during this difficult time by supporting @mealsonwheelsamerica. We're ecstatic for the newlyweds who got engaged in May 2019 after two years of dating, however, we still have so many questions! First and foremost, we're uber curious as to their choice to use a picture of New York City's Staten Island Ferry edited with cans connected by strings trailing behind the boat—a classic wedding tradition done to the bride and groom's mode of transportation. Did the couple tie-the-knot on a ride to New York's Parks borough?
Here's to hoping we don't have to wait too long for photos of the actual wedding day to roll in, like what choice of bridal attire Johansson paired with her 11-carat engagement ring.
While this is Jost's first marriage, Johansson has been married twice before—to actor Ryan Reynolds and to French businessman Romain Dauriac (with who she shares a daughter with). They say "third time's the charm," right?
Congrats to the Josts!
