Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma Are Engaged!

Ever since Rebel Wilson's career in took off in 2003, she’s acquired a long list of accolades: actress, director, writer, producer, singer, and comedian. Now, she can also “fiancée” to her ever-growing list of titles. On February 19, 2023, Wilson announced that she and Ramona Agruma have decided to spend the rest of their lives together. The Pitch Perfect star shared the happy news on Instagram, offering fans a few details from the proposal, which took place at Disneyland in California. 

In the first photo she uploaded to Instagram, the duo is seen wearing matching pink-and-white striped sweaters and holding hands with Agruma’s new bling on display. According to People, Wilson popped the question with a 2.55-carat round-cut diamond ring from Tiffany & Co. “Our friend Hugh, who set us up, gave us Tiffany heart charms on our first-ever date in Los Angeles in late 2021," Wilson exclusively tells the outlet. “So, it's amazing to celebrate our engagement with a gorgeous Tiffany's ring."

The second photo in the carousel provides a glimpse at the dreamy scene. Based on the photo, Wilson got down on one knee in front of the iconic Sleeping Beauty castle at Disneyland, flanked by two urns overflowing with bright blooms on white pedestals. A bed of flower petals scattered around the area also helped the setting come to life. "We said YES! 💗💗,” the caption says. “Thank you @tiffanyandco for the stunning ring 💍 and to Bob Iger and the incredible team at Disneyland @disneyweddings for pulling off this magical surprise!”

Many of their celebrity friends commented heartfelt messages on the post. “Love you girls!” Paris Hilton exclaimed. “So happy for you two! 🥰 Such a magical way to get engaged✨👸🏼💍👸🏼✨ Congrats! 🥂.” Fellow Pitch Perfect actress Brittany Snow also congratulated the couple with the comment, “Rebs!!!! Magical 😍😍😍 congrats you two!! 💕💕💕.” Simi Liu wrote, “CONGRATULATIONS REBEL!!!! ❤️❤️❤️.”

Wilson announced she was in a relationship with Agruma, the founder and owner of Lemon Ve Limon, in June of 2022. She told People that they hit it off from the start, which she said was shocking given that up until that point, the multi-hyphenate had been looking for a husband and even dated 50 guys in one year. “I always was a bit of a girls' girl and had deep friendships with women, but this was the first time that it was a romantic connection, and I was just shocked," Wilson explained. “And then I was like, 'Oh, well, what if that was just part of my personality that I was repressing and wasn't exploring?' And maybe I should have 10 years earlier. My journey is what it is, but it's just awesome now to be in a relationship." Now, the couple is co-parenting Royce, whom Wilson welcomed via surrogate in November of 2022.
