Anik Proposed to Brunson in 2020
While Brunson hasn't posted Anik on her Instagram, she did show off her engagement ring to her followers when he popped the question. On July 30, 2020, the writer posted a selfie showing off her hand with the caption: "More good news." Sparkling on her ring finger was a stunning gold round-cut solitaire stone.
The Couple Got Married in 2021
A little over a year later, the happy couple tied the knot! According to Showbiz Corner, Kevin and Quinta said "I do" in a very intimate ceremony with close friends and family in September 2021. Unfortunately, the couple kept everything under wraps and Quinta did not post any photos from the wedding festivities.
The Two Keep Their Relationship Private
It's one thing to not post someone on social media but Brunson really makes sure to keep her private life private. She has only brought him with her as a date to one major public event when the pair attended the Time 100 Gala together in June 2022. The couple looked chic at their red carpet debut with Brunson donning a long sleeve purple wrap dress with matching eyeshadow in the same hue, and Anik wearing a tuxedo with a crown pin on his lapel. At the event, the married duo also were both sporting their weddings rings.
He Is Supportive of Brunson's Career
While she hasn't talked about her husband in interviews, Brunson has definitely given him acknowledgement and love in her acceptance speeches at award shows. When the producer won for Outstanding Writing in a comedy series for Abbot Elementary at the 2022 Emmy Awards, she gave him a thank you on stage in her speech. "In case I am not back up here again, I have to thank my mom, dad, brothers and sisters, my cousins... my wonderful husband because he's the most supportive man I've ever known and my incredible cast and show for helping me to make this show and make the pilot," she said.
When she won another prize for acting in Abbot Elementary at the 2023 Golden Globe Awards, the star once again gave her husband a shout out. On stage, she gave her thanks while attempting to read a speech off her phone as her loved ones were sending her messages. "Oh my god, my family is texting me right now," she said. "My husband, my wonderful, wonderful cast I love you guys so much. And I wouldn't be here if it weren't for having you."
