From Princess Diana and Prince Charles’ 1981 nuptials to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s 2018 wedding, royal vow exchanges are some of the most highly-anticipated and influential affairs. For all royal wedding fans out there, you’re in luck. Princess Iman of Jordan is getting ready to say “I do” to Jameel Thermiotis, and their special day is taking place this weekend. King Abdullah II and Queen Rania announced that their daughter and her Venezuelan venture capitalist fiancé will trade vows on Sunday, March 12, 2023. Although the king and queen didn’t reveal additional details, Tatler reports that the wedding may take place in the bride’s native Jordan or the groom’s home of Venezuela.

To share the news, Queen Rania posted a nostalgic video documenting her daughter through the years. The montage begins with the queen holding her newborn daughter in her arms at the hospital and then features a series of photos and videos of the princess as a child. A current photo of her daughter, showing her all grown up, concludes the video. “The first time I held my baby girl, I knew my life would never be the same,” the caption begins. “In a week, she will be a bride. My precious Iman, I am so happy for you and so proud of everything that you are. Thank you to the very talented @elissazkh and to the brilliant @imarwankhoury for this wonderful gift and for your amazing ability to capture sentiments so beautifully.”

The Jordanian princess and her future husband announced their engagement in July of 2022. To commemorate the occasion, the queen uploaded a photo of the engaged couple on Instagram along with the caption, “Congratulations my dearest Iman; your smile has always been a gift of love that I’ve cherished since the day you were born. I wish you and Jameel a life filled with love and laughter!” The princess’s brother, Crown Prince Hussein, also congratulated the couple on social media. “May God bless you and bring you together in goodness, God willing,” he wrote. “Congratulations on the engagement my dear sister Iman and brother Jameel. I wish you a lifetime of happiness together.”

This won’t be the only Jordanian royal wedding happening this year. Crown Prince Hussein will say “I do” to Rajwa Al Saif on June 1, 2023. This date is meaningful to the couple because the future king of Jordan’s parents, King Abdullah II and Queen Rania, will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary that same month, Tatler reported. “The Royal Hashemite Court is pleased to announce that the wedding of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Miss Rajwa Khalid Al Saif will take place on June 1, 2023,” the court confirmed on December 31, 2022. “The Royal Hashemite Court extends its sincere congratulations to Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah on this occasion and wishes His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bun Abdullah II and Miss Raja Khalid Al Said a lifetime of happiness #Jordan.”

The crown prince shared his engagement news on August 18, 2022, after popping the question with a diamond ring. “We pray that God grants us His blessings,” Hussein wrote at the time. “Grateful to my dear Jordanian family for their heartfelt support and kind wishes.” According to Tatler, Hussein proposed at Rajwa’s father’s home, while his parents were also present. Once again, Queen Rania expressed her excitement on Instagram: “I didn’t think it was possible to hold so much joy in my heart! Congratulations to my eldest Prince Hussein and his beautiful bride-to-be, Rajwa.”
