Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank have officially hit the four-year mark. Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter and her husband celebrated four years of marriage on October 12, 2022. The princess commemorated the milestone by posting a sweet throwback photo from their wedding day and a heartfelt message on Instagram. “Happy Anniversary my Jack,” she wrote. “4 years and counting.. ❤️❤️😘 📸”
In the photo, the royal bride and her groom share a kiss while sitting in the back of the horse-drawn Scottish State Coach, which they rode in during a procession through the streets of Windsor after their ceremony at St. George’s Chapel. The black-and-white image shows Eugenie wearing her elegant long-sleeve A-line gown and emerald tiara, and Jack in his classic morning suit.
On October 12, 2018, the couple said “I do” in front of 800 guests at their church ceremony. After making it official, they joined their friends and family in celebrating at a luncheon, which the Queen hosted at Windsor Castle. At the Queen’s reception, guests noshed on finger foods while listening to speeches from the groom and Prince Andrew. Both events were decorated with autumnal floral arrangements of roses, hydrangeas, dahlias, and berries, all sourced from Windsor Park.
The newlyweds continued the festivities at a black-tie reception at Royal Lodge. Guests grabbed a bite from a gourmet pizza truck and sipped on Casamigos margaritas, a nod to Jack’s job as a brand ambassador for the tequila company at the time. According to People, Robbie Williams sang “Angels” and other pop songs throughout the evening.
The royal pair first met in 2010. They dated for seven years before getting engaged in January 2018. Nine months later, the pair tied the knot. On February 9, 2021, they welcomed their first son, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank.
