Wondering how you can get married like the royals? Jet off to Las Vegas to throw your own princess-worthy wedding at a new exhibition that honors Princess Diana. The Princess Diana: A Tribute Exhibition, which opened on Friday, September 2, 2022, offers a wedding package that invites couples to tie the knot surrounded by regal memorabilia from Princess Diana and Prince Charles’s 1981 wedding. The package includes a full ceremony and private dinner in the “Wedding of the Century” room.
"Vegas is the wedding capital of the world,” said David Corelli, curator and producer of the exhibition. “There are 120,000 weddings that happen in the city every year, so here we have this amazing room celebrating the most famous wedding of all time with unbelievable artifacts surrounding you.”
The most notable element is the opportunity to say “I do” next to a life-size replica of the princess’s wedding dress, which Isabelle de Borchgrave made out of paper. Guests can admire the gown and walk across its 25-foot-long train, which is preserved under glass.
In addition to the Princess of Wales’s iconic ensemble, the 10,000-square-foot exhibit with 12 curated rooms highlights 700 original artifacts, including Princess Diana’s evening gowns. The display also houses artist installations, historic royal textiles, a collection of correspondence, gifts, and other personal items that once belonged to the royal family.
The new exhibition is a product of a partnership with Pink Ribbons Crusade, a charity helping to help fight breast cancer. It's a perfect reason for royal-obsessed engaged couples to book a flight to Las Vegas!
