Another royal baby is on the way! Princess Beatrice announced on Wednesday that she’s expecting her first child with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. The baby will be Queen Elizabeth’s twelfth great grandchild, following the birth of Princess Eugenie’s baby in February and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s second child, who’s expected to arrive this summer.
“The Queen has been informed and both families are delighted with the news,” read a statement announcing the pregnancy.
Beatrice and Edoardo married last July in a small, private ceremony at The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge in Windsor. Beatrice wore a stunning vintage dress by Norman Hartnell paired with the Queen Mary diamond fringe tiara—the same tiara Queen Elizabeth wore on her wedding day.
Beatrice is already the stepmother of Edoardo’s young son from a previous relationship. They’ll become a family of four in just a few months—according to the statement, Beatrice is due this fall.
