Watters - Spring 2015

Thomas Iannaconne
The starting point of the Fall 2014 Collection was the enchanted city of Venice. Vatana Watters took inspiration for the art, music, architecture and the pure romance of Venice to create dazzling styles with old world charm. Vatana was inspired by the architecture of Venice, and the Gothic, Byzantine and Moorish architecture influences are seen on the ornate and intricate hand crafted embroidery with metallic beading. The frescos and mosaic dating back to Byzantine Era inspired the opulent body contouring hand beaded dresses accentuated with perfectly hand placed lace appliques. The romance of Venice gave birth to classic silhouettes in luxurious fabrications and intricate necklines in sculpting baroque lace, an homage to the captivating elegance of the city. Watters Bridesmaids are showcased in gorgeous subtle shades of mint and lavender with an accent of black in dreamy lace, exquisite crinkle chiffon, and lavish Mikado. From intricate and delicate draping to long dream chiffon styles with feminine and magnificent custom beaded work, these designs will make any bridesmaid look eternally elegant.
