Penn Badgley and Domino Kirke Are Expecting Their First Child

Penn Badgley and wife Domino Kirke are expecting their first child together. The 33-year-old You actor and 37-year-old singer, who began dating in 2014, married in a small courthouse ceremony in 2017.

Kirke, who happens to be a doula, shared the news on Instagram Monday morning with a baby bump photo. In the post, she also revealed that she had experienced two miscarriages before the pregnancy. "I stopped trusting my body and started to accept the fact that I was done," she wrote. "You’re already teaching us how to stay in the day in a way we’ve never had to, little one."

"As a birth attendant, I’ve seen and heard it all," she continued. "It takes everything I’ve got to detach lovingly from the losses I’ve been present for and be in my own experience."

Kirke has a 10-year-old son from a previous relationship and reflected on that pregnancy in the post as well. "When I was pregnant at 25, I knew nothing," she wrote. "Now, with 10 years worth of experience to pull from, I treasure my birth community and the knowledge I have."

Prior to his relationship with Kirke, Badgley dated his Gossip Girl costar Blake Lively. While he has yet to make a public statement about the pregnancy, Badgley praised his wife for her "radiant soul" on her birthday back in December. Congratulations to the couple and their family!
