Since NFL players gain the most media attention on game day, we sometimes forget that they have lives off of the field too. Many of these talented athletes are married to or dating a significant other who is their number one supporter. Not only do these top NFL athletes' partners cheer for them on game day, but they’re also around for the mundane moments we spectators don’t get to see. Besides being their significant other's biggest fan, they’re the ones who deal with the heartbreaking losses, injuries, and constant travel behind the scenes—often in addition to juggling impressive careers of their own.

Despite their schedules, football’s most adorable duos still find time to give us plenty of sweet moments to fawn over. Here are some of the NFL’s cutest couples that we’ll be keeping up with long after the football season ends.

Los Angeles Rams quarterback, Matthew Stafford, and his wife, Kelly Stafford, have one of the most adorable families in the NFL. The couple has four daughters together, and Kelly regularly posts photos of the adorable squad cheering on their superstar dad both at home and at SoFi stadium.

Matthew and Kelly have been together for over 10 years. The duo first linked up at the University of Georgia when she was a cheerleader and he was the starting quarterback. "I couldn't have done it without her," Matthew said at a press conference following his NFC Championship win in January 2022. "She's an unbelievable part of my life. She's been through a lot with me, and we've leaned on each other at separate times to help ourselves get whatever we're having to get through."

Joe Burrow and Olivia Holzmacher

While Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and Olivia Holzmacher keep many of the details about their long-term relationship private, his girlfriend is still one of the NFL player's biggest supporters both on and off the field. The pair has been together for over four years. They first started dating when they were both students at Ohio State.

Even though Burrow later transferred to LSU—where he won the National Championship in 2020—the duo remained strong. Holzmacher was by the quarterback's side when he won the Heisman Trophy that same year. Now, the Ohio State alum can regularly be seen cheering on her beau at his NFL games—even when she can't physically be there.

2022 has been a big year for Odell Beckham Jr. and Lauren Wood. Not only did the Los Angeles Rams wide receiver make his first Super Bowl appearance, but he also became a dad. The NFL player and his girlfriend welcomed their first son together, Zydn.

When the athlete announced the news on Instagram, he also gave a shoutout to Wood. "Lauren Wood, u changed my life forever and delivered the most beautiful gift of all… EFFORTLESSLY!" Beckham Jr. wrote. "Ur strength throughout this gives me the courage to keep goin because i now kno with u by my side and holding it down for me, I can get thru anything. I love u so much."

The couple was initially linked back in November 2019, but they have kept much of their relationship private. However, the fitness trainer did give fans a peek into her life with the pro athlete in 2021 when she posted a sweet photo montage for his birthday. Just days before his Super Bowl debut, Lauren shared a few adorable snaps from the couple’s recent maternity shoot.

Patrick Mahomes might be a Super Bowl champion now, but his wife, Brittany Matthews, was by his side way back when the Kansas City Chiefs player was still a high school quarterback. The high school sweethearts first met at their school in Texas and even attended prom together. After winning the Super Bowl in 2020, Mahomes proposed to Matthews at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Ring Ceremony, so they both left the event with some dazzling new bling.

To top off their whirlwind year, the couple announced they were expecting a baby girl just a few weeks after their engagement and welcomed Sterling Skye Mahomes in February 2021. The couple tied the knot in a romantic Hawaii wedding on March 12, 2022.

Talk about a superstar duo! When Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson and Grammy-winning artist Ciara first linked up in 2015, the world could hardly grasp how one couple could possess so much talent. Since making their public debut at a White House state dinner, Wilson and Ciara have gone on to marry in a stunning (and secret) ceremony at an English castle, welcome two children together, and even become partial owners of a soccer team.

They’ve also continued to support each other’s individual ventures. Wilson proudly posed in a campaign for the singer’s new clothing line, and Ciara even sported her husband’s jersey number and Super Bowl ring at this year’s Met Gala.

As the highest-paid running back in the NFL, Carolina Panthers player Christian McCaffrey is used to outrunning his opponents by a long shot. However, when it comes to social media, his girlfriend, Olivia Culpo, has him beat by miles. The former Miss Universe, fashion designer, and social media personality has almost five million followers on Instagram, and she regularly shares glimpses of her travels, designer ensembles, and various business ventures.

McCaffrey, whom Culpo has been dating since 2019, makes frequent appearances when he’s not busy breaking NFL records. The couple also shares a toy poodle, Oliver Sprinkles, together—who of course has his own Instagram with over 21,000 followers.

Jonathan Owens and Simone Biles

Jonathan Owens and Simone Biles might just be one of the most athletic couples out there. The Houston Texans NFL player and the Olympic gold medal-winning gymnast started dating in 2020, a few months after Biles slid into Owens’s DMs. Two years later, on Valentine’s Day in 2022, the football player popped the question. Now, the power couple is getting ready to tie the knot in 2023. In fact, the gymnast has already said “yes” to several wedding dresses for the event.

Besides supporting one another in their sporting endeavors, the duo loves playing with their three bulldogs and spending time with one another. "We're with each other 24/7, so I feel like now when we're not with each other, it's almost weird," Biles told Today in February 2022. "We're always texting or calling each other."

Even though Josh Allen has been playing in the NFL for only a few years, the Buffalo Bills quarterback has already broken several records. And, his girlfriend, Brittany Williams, has been there since the beginning. In fact, the two were childhood friends. The pilates instructor admits that she had a crush on the football player back in the day, but they didn’t start dating until 2017.

Williams has always been her boyfriend’s number one fan. She was there when the Buffalo Bills drafted the NFL star, and she often shares photos at his games. "Year 4,” she posted on Instagram. “So much to be proud of… It's amazing watching you put your head down and work every day to be the best teammate, leader, and football player you can be. Through the ups & downs of this season, you remained calm and confident and it showed every time you stepped on the field."

Another NFL couple with a lot of athleticism is Zach Ertz and Julie Ertz. Naturally, the tight end for the Arizona Cardinals and the U.S. women’s soccer team player met while attending a sporting event. After the two crossed paths at a baseball game at Stanford University in 2012, the rest was history. It was a full-circle moment four years later when Zach proposed at that same baseball field. They got married the following year in Santa Clara, California.

Throughout their 10-year relationship, the pair has cheered one another along during every win and loss. When Zach won the Super Bowl in 2018, Julie was there to support him. And, when Julie competed in the World Cup in 2019, Zach was rooting for her.
