Founded by Nikki Wirthensohn Yassemi in 2014, NARCES was created and "inspired by the romantic glamour and elegance of the mid 20th century with a distinctive modern twist," as revealed on the brand's website. Born in Austria, and later growing up in Iran and the UK, before officially moving to Canada, Yassemi's collections are a clear depiction of the various worldwide styles and aesthetics she has embraced throughout her life.

“Today brides are truly looking to be different and make an impactful, unique, confident, and creative statement,” Yassemi says. “At NARCES, we step away from the typical stereotype of what a wedding dress is and play with unconventional silhouettes, colors, textures and deliver a fresh, modern take, one that takes inspiration from the world of art. Our dresses, jumpsuits, and suits are all customizable and can live on beyond the wedding day and become an extra-special part of a woman’s occasion wardrobe."

Ahead, the latest collection from NARCES.

“The NARCES bride is a dreamer. She is creative. She is diverse and dynamic in her style. She sees fashion as art. She seeks the unexpected. She is willing to take risks and is open to ideas.”—Nikki Wirthensohn Yassemi, creative director and founder, NARCES.
