If you're getting married in 2020, chances are you already have your wedding date booked (if not, you'll want to pay close attention). You also might be wondering how many other engaged couples are counting down to your date, too.
Zola released its list of the most popular wedding dates for 2020 and among the expected are a few curveballs. “We’ve actually heard of a lot of couples who had longer engagements so they could get married in 2020," says Zola’s Editorial Manager Lindsay Dolak. "Plus, choosing a date with a special pattern means your partner has literally no excuse to forget your anniversary.”

Without further ado, the most popular wedding dates of 2020 are:
- Saturday, October 10, 2020
- Saturday, June 20, 2020
- Saturday, September 19, 2020
- Saturday, June 6, 2020
- Saturday, September 26, 2020
- Saturday, October 17, 2020
- Saturday, October 3, 2020
- Saturday, September 12, 2020
- Saturday, May 30, 2020
- Saturday, May 16, 2020
No surprise, October 10 came in at number one, but numerology suggests it might not be as lucky of a date as you'd think. The top five are packed with sweet-sounding dates, like 9/19/2020 and 6/6/2020. It's worth mentioning that all of the dates fall on a Saturday, which continues to be the most popular day of the week to get married.
October also dethroned September as the most popular wedding month, with June and May coming in second and third, respectively. As for the least popular wedding date of 2020? That title goes to Tuesday, November 3, which is Election Day. When it comes down to it, there's never really a bad day to get married. No matter what the calendar says, it'll be the most special and memorable day of your life.
