When you attend the wedding of a fashion designer, guests are expected to bring their A game. Obviously, this wasn't an issue for Meghan Markle, who arrived to her best friend's Italian nuptials wearing the sheer dress of our dreams.
For the black tie affair, the Duchess wore a black tulle Valentino gown complete puffed sleeves and white embroidery. She accessorized with gold cuff earrings and styled her hair in a relaxed bun, leaving a few wavy strands to frame her face. The look is reminiscent of the black Jason Wu number she wore to the London premier of The Lion King earlier this year, although more whimsical.
Of course, Prince Harry was by his wife's side wearing a black tuxedo. The Duke and Duchess are celebrating the wedding of fashion designer Misha Nonoo and oil tycoon Michael Hess. The occasion is of particular importance to the royal couple as Nonoo is a close friend and is even rumored to have set up the couple.
Meghan and Harry aren't the only royal guests at the Italian wedding either. Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie were both spotted arriving at the ceremony site. Princess Eugenie, who was wearing a black evening gown, even had the honor of riding with the bride herself to the ceremony.
Katy Perry also scored a spot on the guest, wearing a bright pink dress and arriving with fiancé Orlando Bloom. Ivanka Trump and husband Jared Kushner flew to Italy for the celebration as well. The first daughter was seen wearing a pale peach chiffon gown. Her sister-in-law model Karlie Kloss and husband Joshua Kushner are also attending the nuptials.
Unfortunately yet unsurprisingly, Meghan's Valentino gown is already sold out. But, she is leaving us with some major fashion inspiration for all our black tie wedding affairs this season. While we patiently wait for her exact look to come back in stock, check out our fall wedding guest dress edit so you can dress like a Duchess!
