Matthew Perry is engaged, and we couldn’t BE any happier!

The Friends star popped the question to his longtime girlfriend Molly Hurwitz. People revealed the exciting news on Thanksgiving day—And it's like straight out of a Friends Thanksgiving episode!

“I decided to get engaged," Perry told People.  "Luckily, I happened to be dating the greatest woman on the face of the planet at this time.”

The 29-year-old literary manager took to her private Instagram account last Valentine’s Day after to shout out her boyfriend—new to Instagram at the time.

“Second year being my valentine, but his first as an Instagram influencer. HVD to my favorite,” she captioned the post.

The two started dating in 2018 but from the looks of it, got serious quickly. Perry and Hurwitz reportedly spent the holidays together last year. While Perry has yet to post with Hurwitz on his Instagram, we can't wait to see if he celebrates their newfound engagement with a post.

Before Hurwitz, the 17 Again actor was linked to Mean Girls actress Janis Ian from 2006 to 2012, his last known relationship.

Perry followed up the engagement news by posting a photo of his new fiancée wearing his Friends t-shirt (from his limited-edition Friends apparel line). This was the first pic he's posted of Hurwitz since joining the photo-sharing app earlier this year, making their engaged status Instagram official. We think his castmates would approve!
