Before beginning his own label in 2002, Matthew Christopher began his career as a bridal designer with Demetrios, then Candace Solomen. Later, he became head designer at Galina and even helped create the bridal line for Watters and Watters. Most recently, his Chicago-based brand was acquired by Van Der Velde.
