“White Lotus” Star Lukas Gage and Celebrity Hairstylist Chris Appleton Are Married!

Just three weeks after sources confirmed that Lukas Gage and Chris Appleton are engaged, the couple has announced that they've tied the knot. On Wednesday, April 26, 2023, the White Lotus star took to Instagram to share the news he and the celebrity hairstylist are officially married. “Ring finger where the rock is,” the actor captions a carousel of photos from the special day, which took place in Las Vegas. 

Despite their relatively quick engagement period, the duo was still able to plan a star-studded celebration. Kim Kardashian, a long-time client of Appleton’s, played an important role, as did singer Shania Twain.

In the first image Gage shared, he and Appleton are posing together while wearing black fur coats, black leather pants, and long necklaces. While Gage is sporting an unbuttoned shirt with a cheetah print, Appleton is clad in a metallic one. Based on the caption and their attire, it appears that the wedding could have had a theme inspired by rock ’n roll. 

The next image pictures the newlyweds posing with Kardashian, who is dressed in a tight-fitting, low-cut black leather dress and a black choker. According to the post, the reality TV star officiated the ceremony. One of the photos shows Kardashian reading from a script while Gage and Appleton hold hands during their vow exchange. The image also captures the altar setup, which includes a backdrop of white draped curtains, assortments of white flowers and greenery, and crystal chandeliers. 

As for Twain's role in the nuptials? Wedding singer! To conclude the collection of photos, Gage uploaded a clip of the singer-songwriter playing the guitar and serenading the newlyweds to her hit, “You’re Still the One,” while on a stage illuminated by colorful lights. Twain is seen wearing a long-sleeve sequined shirt and jeans.

Appleton also shared the exciting news on Instagram. “We did it 💍,” he reveals. “Big thank you to @kimkardashian & @shaniatwain.” The hairstylist posted the same carousel of photos to accompany the social media tribute. Celebrities quickly headed to the comments section to express their well wishes. “Omfg congratulations ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” Madelyn Cline gushed. Dua Lipa simply typed a handful of emojis: “😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.” Maude Apatow couldn’t contain her excitement. “YAAAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYYY❤️❤️❤️❤️," she posted, while Lisa Rinna shared, "This is too hot 🔥.”

A few days before the announcement, on April 23, 2023, Kardashian presented Appleton with an award for being the hair artist of the year at the Daily Front Row Fashion L.A. Awards. Before handing him the award, the SKIMS founder commented on the couple’s love. “Let me say one thing really quick," she said. “I’m so happy he's in a relationship right now and that it's out there because I'm so tired of all my girl friends and guy friends asking me if you're available and who my hot guy is who is always with me." In his acceptance speech, Appleton referred to Gage as his “rock.”

Earlier this month, insiders confirmed to People that the duo are engaged. “Friends in their circle are definitely shocked at how quick it happened, but they’re happy for them,” the insider remarked. “They seem like the real deal.” Although the duo just recently started opening up about their romance, another source said the hairstylist was smitten from the start. “Chris has been looking for something real for a long time,” the insider admitted. “This has moved fast, but he is dazzled by Lukas.”
