Lais Ribeiro Marries Joakim Noah in a Romantic Beach Wedding

Victoria’s Secret Angel Lais Ribeiro and former professional basketball player Joakim Noah tied the knot! The duo swapped vows at a romantic wedding on the beach in Brazil on Thursday, July 7, 2022. 

For the special occasion, the model sported a stunning A-line gown with a beaded floral embroidered corset top and sheer detailing by Galia Lahav. She wore her hair in loose waves with a white flower tucked behind her ear and carried a bouquet of white flowers. The athlete donned an all-white suit and accessorized with a white rose boutonniere and yellow-tinted sunglasses. 

Ribeiro’s dad walked his daughter down the aisle and handed her off to Noah. The happy couple proceeded to recite promises to one another in front of an asymmetrical arch adorned with cream, pink, and red flowers. All of their closest friends and family members attended the ceremony and cheered the pair on as they shared their first kiss. 

Fellow Victoria’s Secret models, Jasmine Tookes and Sara Sampaio, stood by Ribeiro’s side as bridesmaids. They wore one-shoulder Galia Lahav light brown dresses and elegant updos. The groomsmen matched the bridesmaids in the same shade of brown. 

The basketball star first popped the question in the Nevada desert during Burning Man in 2019 after just one year of dating. “I’m a bit late for Burning Man pics and of course I didn’t touch my phone for 5 days and I don’t have a single pic but thanks to my Bff @jeromeduran he captured one of the best moments in my life,” the Victoria’s Secret angel posted on Instagram. “@stickity13 surprised me at my fav place in the world and proposed 💍 And I couldn’t be happier! We are getting married guys 👰💍😍💃🏽”
