Kris Jenner Gave Kourtney Kardashian Her Wedding Ring Before Her Italian Nuptials

Kourtney Kardashian received a very special gift on the eve of her May 22, 2023, wedding to Travis Barker. In the new Hulu special 'Til Death Do Us Part Kourtney & Travis—which showcases the couple's extravagant wedding weekend in Portofino, Italy, along with their previous weddings in Las Vegas and Santa Barbara—Kourtney shares that her mother Kris Jenner gave her a meaningful present at the rehearsal dinner: the wedding ring she received from her late husband Robert Kardashian on their own big day.

The gift from her mother, which she received during her rehearsal dinner, held a significant and sentimental meaning for the bride. "When my dad died, I remember thinking I never want to get married because my dad isn't there to walk me down the aisle," Kourtney says in the special. "So that gift meant so much." The rehearsal dinner was just part of an entire weekend full of events to celebrate the couple. The Portofino wedding weekend began with a dinner on Friday night at Ristorante Puny. On Saturday, the couple held a pre-wedding lunch at the Abbey of San Fruttuoso. That evening, Dolce & Gabbana allowed the couple to host a night of dinner and dancing at Villa San Bartolomeo, part of their complex of properties called L'Ulivetta. The ceremony took place Sunday on the L'Ulivetta grounds with a following reception at Castello Brown.

Kourtney also spoke of her father the morning of the wedding, noting that his memory provided her with a sense of calm before walking down the aisle. "My dad would've loved Travis and Travis reminds me so much of my dad in the weirdest ways," the reality TV star said. "I felt his presence and a sense of calm. It felt so good and calm… like, I'm ready and it just felt perfect."

Travis had another method of calming his nerves before saying "I do." In the special, the groom shares that less than an hour before his third wedding with Kourtney, he jumped off a yacht with his son Landon. "Because I was nervous, and I knew it was like, the wedding day, I went and like, jumped off like the roof of a boat, like less than an hour before we got married," Barker said in the Hulu show. "'Cause I just wanted to do something. I just wanted to like, not like, sit around thinking about it."

While a cold plunge may have been a help with the nerves, the sight of Kourtney walking down the aisle in her custom Dolce and Gabbana mini dress and dramatic veil ultimately put him at ease. "When she appeared, she looked beautiful and it was the love of my life," he said. "All this anticipation and planning and the day is finally there. It just felt right."

That day, the couple finally said "I do" in a ceremony surrounded by their closest friends and family, including their six children: Kourtney's sons Mason and Reign, and daughter Penelope, and Travis' son Landon, daughter Alabama, and stepdaughter Atiana. They previously had a wedding without the paperwork in Las Vegas on April 4, and a legal wedding at a Santa Barbara courthouse on May 15.
