Less than two weeks after her engagement to Travis Barker, Kourtney Kardashian is already wowing in a wedding dress.
As the self-proclaimed “Queen of Halloween,” Kourt always impresses us with the over-the-top looks she dreams up for the holiday. Since this year marks her first Halloween with her new fiancé, our expectations for their joint couple’s costumes were even higher than usual. On Sunday, the pair channeled Alabama and Clarence from the 1993 film True Romance. Kourtney wore a platinum wig, bright pink leopard pants, and a sheer blue top to embody Patricia Arquette's character, while Travis dressed in a Hawaiian shirt, bomber jacket, and aviators for his take on Christian Slater's look.
But the Halloween fun didn't end there. On Monday, everyone’s favorite pop punk couple dressed up as another iconic goth duo: Edward and Kim from Edward Scissorhands. Kourtney and Travis perfectly embodied the star-crossed lovers from Tim Burton’s beloved fantasy romance film with their equal parts scary and glamorous costumes.
Travis donned Edward Scissorhands’s signature black ensemble—complete with his bladed hands, of course—while Kourt wore a stunningly accurate recreation of the white dress Winona Ryder wore during the movie’s pivotal snow scene. And not only did both costumes nail the iconic looks originally created by Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood, but Kourtney and Travis also got the accessories right: she paired the dress with a long blonde wig and white pumps, while Travis wore a messy black wig to complete his spooky look.
While we've always thought that Ryder's elegant satin off-the-shoulder gown was inherently bridal, we were delighted to learn that Kourtney's dress was actually recreated by luxury bridal house AMSALE.

The atelier, known for creating one-of-a-kind red carpet looks for celebrities like Halle Berry and Gabrielle Union, collaborated on the dress with Kourtney’s stylist Dani Michelle.

AMSALE
“I was so excited when AMSALE agreed to create Kourtney’s dress for this weekend, recreating Winona Ryder's dress in Edward Scissorhands!” Michelle tells Brides. “Known for minimal and modern designs, I knew their atelier and design team would make something perfect.”
To recreate the dress for Kourtney’s costume, the AMSALE team included all of the features from the original design, including the corset-style top, fabric-covered buttons, and belted neckline.

AMSALE
“Dani was a dream to work with. We were able to turn around Kourtney’s Halloween costume very quickly in our atelier, staying in close touch about fit and progress,” says Sarah Swann, the brand’s Chief Creative Officer. “At AMSALE we are passionate about tailored craftsmanship, so we were thrilled to help bring this vision to life.”
This is not the first time Kourtney has donned a bridal-worthy gown for Halloween, either. Back in 2016, the Poosh founder dressed up as a corpse bride, wearing a sexy white lace lingerie ensemble complete with a veil and bouquet. And just last week, Kourt’s sister Kendall debuted her own take on the corpse bride costume, opting for a two-piece lingerie set, white gloves, and a veil with a floor-grazing train.
Kourtney and Travis also got an early start on this year’s Halloween festivities last week, when they stepped out as punk couple Nancy Spungen and Sid Vicious.
“Till death do us part,” Kourt wrote on Instagram, sharing a series of photos of her and Travis donning wigs, leather, and chains for their rockstar look.
If their Halloween costumes are any indication, we’re in for plenty of epic fashion moments as the couple kicks off their wedding planning journey.
