2016: Love at First Sight?

There were no dating apps or meet-cutes for these two—their story began as a good old fashioned setup. “I was put on a blind date with Tristan. That’s how I met Tristan,” the Good American co-founder reportedly revealed on the Keeping Up With the Kardashians Ten Year Anniversary Special. “Brandon Jennings, who is a basketball player, he is a friend of mine and Malika [Haqq]’s, and he was like, ‘You’re such a good girl, I want to introduce you to someone,’” she recalled. “I didn’t want to go on a blind date. So Brandon kind of ambushed the blind date. So, I had a bunch of people, and he brought [Tristan] and we just connected.”

2016: The First Kiss

Despite the pair’s instant spark, Khloé admitted her intense feelings for the athlete made in a 2018 Valentine’s Day post on her app, according to Us Weekly. “I was so nervous. I liked Tristan so much,” she wrote of their first kiss. She also revealed that their liplock took place at a friend’s house after a chill night of hanging out. “We were all drinking and telling stories and just enjoying each other’s company.”

September 4, 2016: Making Things Official

By September 2016, the budding couple was jet-setting together, flying to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where they made things official. The Good American entrepreneur remembered the moment with bestie Malika in a 2019 bonus clip from Keeping Up With the Kardashians. "He said, 'I want you to be my girlfriend.' Tristan did, in the club, in Cabo. And that's why we said, 'September 4, September 4!'" she told a friend. "Because he asked me to be his girlfriend."

October 25, 2016: Putting It Out in the Open

One month later, the Revenge Body host made things Instagram-official with the former Cleveland Cavaliers star, posting a photograph of her heavily ringed hand over his with a simple heart caption.

January 12, 2017: The One?

Just four months into their relationship, Khloé hinted that her new love might be the real deal. She told Extra in a January 2017 interview that things between them were going “so good.” Khloé also confessed her hopes for their future. “Is he the one?” the interviewer asked, to which she replied, “I hope so! I am in love with him; I think he’s the best. So I hope so. Only time will tell.” 

February 2017: A Romantic Getaway

The happy couple headed off on a romantic vacay in February, this time to Jamaica, where they shared adventures such as zip-lining at Mystic Mountain in Ocho Rios.

June 26, 2017: The King to Her Queen

Khloé made it clear to fans where her man stood on her birthday in 2017. “My king,” she wrote alongside an Instagram photo of them sharing a kiss in front of balloons, which naturally spelled out her nickname, Koko.

August 12, 2017: Telling All

The reality star opened up about the pair’s relationship to The Daily Mail back in August 2017, telling the publication about their shared values (“[We’re] both Christians, we go to church”), their at-home habits (“He loves Cinnabons, so I learned how to make them by watching a YouTube video”), and their solid union—with or without marriage. “When he speaks, it’s ‘us’ and ‘we,’” she revealed. “That’s important because it shows that you’re sharing life. The best thing is that we’re able to communicate about anything.”

October 31, 2017: Couple Costumes

The twosome shared a steamy kiss as Daenerys Targaryen and Khal Drago from Game of Thrones in an epic celebrity couple’s costume for Halloween in 2017.

December 11, 2017: A Shared Secret

While Khloé had yet to confirm her pregnancy in mid-December 2017, looking back, she seemed to imply the news when she captioned a shot of the pair sharing a sweet kiss with the words, “The day I met you, my life changed.”

December 20, 2017: The Big Pregnancy Reveal

Khloé revealed to the world that she and Tristan were expecting with a sweet Instagram post showcasing her growing belly front and center. “We are having a baby,” she wrote. “I had been waiting and wondering but God had a plan all along. He knew what He was doing.”

She also thanked her baby daddy-to-be in the post, gushing, “Tristan, thank you for loving me the way that you do! Thank you for treating me like a Queen! Thank you for making me feel beautiful at all stages! Tristan, most of all, Thank you for making me a MOMMY!!! You have made this experience even more magical than I could have envisioned! I will never forget how wonderful you've been to me during this time!”

She wasn’t the only one feeling the love. Tristan reportedly responded in kind, commenting, “I love you soo much and I know our little angel feels the love we share together—and will know that mommy and daddy love them unconditionally forever.”

Feb 13, 2018: Fast and Furious

According to Us Weekly, the expecting mom admitted to readers of her app ahead of Valentine’s Day 2018 that it didn’t take very long to cement her feelings for her partner. “I knew Tristan was the one very quickly—I have never felt so comfortable or so safe with someone,” she wrote.

April 10, 2018: Heading for a Broken Heart

Sadly, Tristan proved he was unworthy of that trust in April 2018, when an October surveillance video of him kissing two women at a hookah lounge surfaced.

April 12, 2018: Baby True Arrives

Just two days after Tristan’s cheating scandal hit the tabloids, Khloé gave birth to the couple’s first child—an event that he was present for, despite their private turmoil.

May 2018: Making Amends

By May 2018, reports were swirling that the twosome had reconciled, putting Tristan’s indiscretions behind them. They were allegedly spotted for the first time since the news broke on May 4, and two days later, the businesswoman was seen courtside at his game against the Raptors.

November 16, 2018: Giving Thanks

The duo proved how far they’d come in November 2018, with a now-deleted post on Khloé’s app that showed a loving place card reading, “Thankful for Tristan.”

February 19, 2019: Calling It Quits

Their reunion was short-lived, however, with Khloé calling it quits with her beau two months after the Christmas holiday—seemingly for good. The reason? Another indiscretion—this time with Khloé's sister Kylie Jenner's BFF, Jordyn Woods. The bombshell news was enough to shake Khloé to her core, with TMZ sources saying the media mogul had "had enough."

April 14, 2019: Playing Nice

Regardless of the drama playing out between True's parents behind the scenes, they put their differences aside in April 2019 to come together for their daughter's first birthday.

As Khloé would later reveal to her assistant in a season 17 KUWTK episode, it was an awkward reunion, as she said the ballplayer "tried to, like, kiss me."

June 2019: Try, Try Again?

Khloé’s rebuffs didn’t easily deter Tristan. By her birthday in June, he had upped the ante, enlisting her BFF Malika with help for the delivery of a special gift—a giant diamond necklace. “[Tristan] asked for help to surprise you with something. He wanted to give you something, do something nice for you,” Malika later explained in a December episode of the show.

Khloé wasn’t quite ready to accept much beyond his gesture, however. “Right now, the most I can handle is a co-parenting relationship,” the Hulu star said in the same episode, adding, “Tristan wants more than that.”

December 2019: Friendly Exes

There appeared to be no bad blood between the former lovers by December, as they posed for photos together at the annual family holiday party. Khloé gave fans some insight into her mindset earlier in the month via Instagram, sharing in a post that read, “Yes, I’m allowed to feel hurt and pain. It would be unnatural for me to pretend as if I don’t. Personally, I don’t want to be carrying around a hateful heart. I crave peace in my life. Me holding onto hate is only going to hurt me in the end. I have chosen to NOT pollute my heart and my energy by holding onto anything negative.”

March 2020: Shacking Up

Khloé and Tristan began 2020 much like the rest of us—in quarantine. They decided to do so together for their daughter, meaning the ex-lovers lived under the same roof once again.

August 2020: Rekindled Romance

Kourtney Kardashian’s ex Scott Disick seemingly let it slip that Khloé and Tristan had rekindled their love in August 2020. “@realtristan13 is a lucky man!” he commented on a steamy bikini photo the model posted to her page.

October 2020: Public PDA

If there was any doubt about their status, Tristan sweetly planted a kiss on his baby momma’s cheek at Kim Kardashian’s 40th birthday party, adding fuel to the fire of their relationship buzz.

November 2, 2020: A Family Affair

The twosome revealed that they had coordinated their Halloween looks in early November, with Tristan playing Marc Antony to Khloé's Cleopatra and True's royal highness. "Mommy and Tutu make me look good," Tristan wrote of their group ensemble.

March 13, 2021: Back On

Khloé did more than wish Tristan a happy birthday in March 2021: She more or less confirmed their coupledom. "The ones that are meant to be are the ones who go through everything that is designed to tear them apart, and they come out even stronger than they were before," she wrote in the caption section of a family shot. "Thank you for showing me everything you said you would. For the father you are. For the best friend I have in you. I'm thankful that I can do absolutely nothing with you, and it feels like everything. I hope you know today and every day how loved you are by me and so many."

June 2021: Reunion Revelations

Khloé told fans during the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reunion that she had been attempting to have another baby via surrogacy after being “high-risk” for natural pregnancy—and that she was trying with none other than Tristan.

June 21, 2021: Trouble in Paradise

E! broke the news that the couple was going their separate ways once more in June, just one day after Tristan was reportedly seen heading into a room with three women at a Bel Air party. He seemed to deny the allegations on Twitter with a blue “cap” emoji, but if reports are to be believed, Khloé had already made up her mind to end things for good.

June 27, 2021: Olive Branch

Together or not, Tristan had a message of love for True's mom on her birthday. "Thank you for being not just an amazing partner, mommy, and best friend but also being the kindest, caring, and most loving human being I've ever met," he gushed. "Your love and spirit are contagious to all who've met you. Thank you for always being there for me and putting our family first. I love you so much. Have an amazing day."

August 13, 2021: Are They or Aren't They?

The on-again, off-again couple joined forces once more in August, taking True to a screening of Paw Patrol. Tristan further confused matters by posting heart emojis on a photo Kardashian posted of her naturally curly hair. Sources told Page Six, however, that the two were merely being amicable for True's sake.

October 14, 2021: A Word of Praise

Tristan had social media buzzing once more in October when he showered his ex with kind words after she shared a smoking shot from her most recent Health cover to her Instagram page. “Wow! You are so motivational, Koko!” he wrote. “So proud of your hard work and dedication to your healthcare and fitness. Abs of steel!!! BRB, I need to do some sit-ups.” 

January 3, 2022

After months of speculation surrounding a paternity case, Tristan confirmed in early 2022 that he had fathered a child with a woman named Maralee Nichols.

“Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols,” the athlete wrote in a statement on Instagram. “I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son.”

He also issued an apology to Khloe. "Khloe, you don't deserve this,” he wrote. “You don't deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don't deserve the way I have treated you over the years."

As for the reality star, a source told ET that Khloe "has been doing her best to stay positive, take care of herself both mentally and physically, and continue to focus on her biggest priority, True,” after the news broke. Another source later told the publication that Khloe and Tristan are still in communication as they continue to co-parent.

"Khloe and Tristan are in touch about logistical things and about what's going on with True," the source said, "and that's really the focus when they're communicating. He has been apologetic and attempting to make things better."
