Are Justin Long and Kate Bosworth Married?

Just one month after Justin Long announced his engagement to Kate Bosworth, the couple seems to have tied the knot. On May 9, 2023, the Tusk actor invited Kyra Sedgwick on an episode of his podcast, Life Is Short, and he hinted at the change in his relationship status by calling Bosworth his “now-wife” while reflecting on filming Barbarian in Bulgaria. “I was there while I was like really falling in love with my now-wife, and so, she came to visit, and I had never been comfortable with…well, set visits I was never crazy about,” he tells his guest. “I liked separating the relationship and the—I don’t know—but I loved having her there, and we just had the most magical time.”

Then, on May 14, 2023, the Accepted actor posted a selfie with the Blue Crush star on his Instagram Story, where her wedding band was on full display, per Page Six. On her own Instagram account, Bosworth uploaded a group photo In honor of Mother’s Day, and Long was seen sporting a wedding band. She also promoted her Amazon Live video by taking an impromptu clip of Long, and fans briefly detected a band on his finger before the actor covered up his hand and played with the ring, according to Today.

Long first confirmed his engagement to Bosworth on April 4, 2023, via Instagram. “She said YES… to being a guest on @lifeisshortpodcast! And to other slightly more life-changing questions ;),” he wrote in his caption. Long went on to explain that his “favorite person” will be back in a future episode to discuss her acting career, but on her most recent episode, they opened up about the events that led to their engagement. “It felt like a leap to talk about something so personal so publicly but I’ve found that the scary things become much easier when you commit to the truth… and to a partner as loving and safe as Catherine Ann Bosworth,” he admitted. 

The Alvin and the Chipmunks actor concluded his post with a heartfelt tribute to Bosworth. “I feel eternally grateful that I found a partner who makes each day SO full, whose mere presence IS a reminder of the beauty and brevity of life, and who makes me laugh from the minute we wake up til the one I begrudgingly fall asleep,” he gushed. “I cherish the days we’ve had and the ones to come 💛💍.” Along with the caption, Long posted a carousel of sweet couple snaps, and the first image shows Bosworth’s diamond sparkler.

The newlyweds, who were first linked in March 2022, sparked engagement rumors when Bosworth was spotted debuting a diamond ring on her left hand at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party on March 10, 2023. At the time, the couple didn’t address the rumors, but an insider told Entertainment Tonight that they’re excited to make their marriage official. “They are both thrilled, and their loved ones are incredibly happy for them," the source revealed. "They make an amazing couple, and they're so excited.” Two weeks later, a source told People that they’re getting ready to tie the knot. “Kate is just the happiest,” the insider said. “Justin is an amazing guy. She can’t wait to marry him. They are very cute together.”
