Come Sunday, all eyes will be on Joe Burrow as the 25-year-old makes his Super Bowl debut as a quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals. And while millions will be rooting for the charismatic NFL player during the big game, there’s one fan who will no doubt be cheering him on louder than all the others: his girlfriend Olivia Holzmacher.
As Joe Burrow’s longtime S.O. (the couple first got together in college), she’s been by his side for every step of his football career, from his Heisman trophy win in 2019 (“I’m so proud of you!”, she gushed at the time) to his NFL debut at the April 2020 draft, when she shared an Instagram post in his honor. “Tonight a new chapter starts for you!” she wrote. “Thankful to be by your side Joe and to be a part of the past three seasons. I’ve had the best experiences and met the best people along the way. So excited for what the future holds.” In honor of Super Bowl 2022, we're rounding up everything you need to know about the woman who scored Joe Burrow's heart.
She and Joe Have Been Dating for Over Four Years
Exactly 12 months after making their Instagram debut on Olivia’s page in August 2017 with a sweet photo of the twosome at Ohio Stadium, they celebrated their one-year anniversary together. “Three hundred sixty five days xoxo,” she captioned a cute shot of herself snuggled up to her beau. While several of those years were spent apart, as Burrow transferred to LSU in 2017, the distance did little to quell their connection, if their loved-up photos are any indication.
She Works As a Data Analyst
According to her LinkedIn page, Olivia is a senior process specialist and analyst for Kroger, where she builds dashboards and visuals for the company’s pickup and delivery services.
She’s an Ohio State Alum
The data analytics major graduated from the Ohio State University in 2019, according to the New York Post.
She Was a Chapter Officer for Her Sorority
Olivia was not only a member of the Alpha Phi sorority in college, but she also served as a chapter officer and held the role of Marshall for the organization, according to LinkedIn.
She’s Often in the Stands… Even When She Can’t Physically Be There
It’s not uncommon to see the former Buckeye wearing her man’s gear as she cheers him on from the stands. During the pandemic, she even got a cutout of herself to attend the games when she couldn't actually be there.
"If a fan cheers in a crowd and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" Olivia wrote in September 2020 alongside a photo of her cutout next to Joe’s dad, Jimmy, and mom, Robin, whom she appears to get along with quite well.
She’s a Taurus
The 24-year-old was born on April 27, 1997, making her a proud bull.
