Jennifer Lopez Wore a Wedding Dress at the American Music Awards

Here comes the bride? Jennifer Lopez just stirred up some major wedding speculation once again with her latest performance at last night's American Music Awards.

Ever since the Bennifer reunion, the world has been watching the couple's every move for any sort of Easter eggs or hints about their rekindled relationship. And luckily for us, J.Lo and Ben Affleck have given us plenty to discuss over the past few months. For their first joint red carpet appearance in almost two decades, Lopez stunned in a white Georges Hobeika gown that gave us serious bridal vibes. And just last night, the singer did it again when she performed at the AMAs while wearing an actual wedding dress.

To be fair, Lopez likely wore the bridal ensemble for a very good reason—she was performing her new song "On My Way" from her upcoming movie Marry Me. Still, that didn't stop us from wanting to know all of the details on her wedding-worthy look.

The multi-hyphenate's nude tea-length dress was a custom creation that Dolce & Gabbana dreamed up for the event. The bustier-style top of the dress was belted in the midsection with a wide gold band before flowing into a full tulle skirt that hit at her shins, revealing nude punky lace-up boots that juxtaposed the ultra-feminine style of the smock. She paired the look, styled by Rob Zangardi, with a dramatic structured tulle veil from Piers Atkinson.

The performance started with the singer sitting in a black robe that concealed her bridal fashion underneath. She then disappeared behind a column screen playing clips from the new movie (which also stars Owen Wilson and Maluma), only to reappear sans-robe moments later, showing off her fairytale-esque dress and enchanting headpiece. After the ethereal performance, Lopez threw her veil to the crowd as if it were a bouquet toss at a wedding.

The highly anticipated film's first trailer dropped last week, and it features plenty of drama, love, and one particularly sparkly wedding dress. J.Lo posted the preview to her Instagram writing, "Just say yes! @jlo, Owen Wilson and @maluma star in #MarryMeMovie."

In the film, Lopez's character, Kat, is set to marry fellow pop star fiancé Bastian (played by Maluma) on stage until she finds out he cheated on her. Enter Charlie Gilbert (Owen Wilson): an unassuming spectator at her show who soon finds himself married to the star.

We'll be here counting down the days to the movie's release in February 2022, and all the while wishing for a real-life on-stage wedding between Lopez and Affleck.
