Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Will Star in a Super Bowl Ad for Dunkin'

While Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are no strangers to working together—the pair shared the big screen for two movies, Gigli in 2003 and Jersey Girl in 2004—this weekend's Super Bowl LVII marks the first time the newlyweds will ever appear in a commercial together. The duo will make their joint ad debut during Sunday's big game, starring in a spot for Affleck's favorite coffee chain: Dunkin', People reports.

In a sneak peek of the commercial, which Dunkin' shared on Instagram on Thursday, February 9, Affleck can be heard talking over a drive-thru speaker. "Welcome to Dunkin'. We're a very friendly establishment. America runs on Dunkin'. This is the Dunkin' run partner. What do you need?," he says during the clip. Earlier last week, the brand first nodded at the commercial with another Instagram post that said, "Something's Ben Brewing."

According to Entertainment Tonight, the ad, which was originally meant to be a regular commercial but ultimately snowballed into a Super Bowl spot, features Affleck working at a Dunkin' when he's not starring in blockbuster movies. "The commercial is funny and cute. It shows Ben working at Dunkin' in his free time because he loves it so much. Then, the Shotgun Wedding actress pulls up to the drive-thru and asks him, 'What are you doing here? Is this what you do all day?' They're both very excited about it," a source told the outlet.

The commercial was filmed at a Dunkin' location in Medford, Massachusetts, in January, People reports. At the time, Affleck even served some unsuspecting fans who happened to visit the drive-thru; one visitor said Affleck handed out food and drink free of charge. A source told ET that the newlyweds were extremely sweet on set. "Jen and Ben were so loving on set. You can really tell how special their connection is," the source said. "Jen just adores Ben, and they both lift each other up and make each other feel so happy. It's really sweet to watch." The partnership between Dunkin' and the couple was a fitting one—Affleck is regularly seen carrying Dunkin' coffee cups in photos.

The pair, who were first engaged in 2003 and called off their wedding in 2004, rekindled their romance in 2021 and officially tied the knot last year. Affleck and Lopez exchanged vows on July 17, 2022, in an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas. One month later, on August 20, 2022, the pair held a second celebration in Georgia, which was attended by their friends and family.
