Every Gorgeous Detail from Jasmine Tookes’s Bridal Shower Brunch

The runway isn’t the only aisle Victoria’s Secret model Jasmine Tookes will be walking down! To celebrate her upcoming wedding to Snapchat business developer Juan David Borrero, the 29-year-old model joined friends and family at her elegant, floral-filled backyard bridal shower on Sunday, July 11. The model’s mother, Cary Robinson, made it all possible by hosting the shower, and The K. Simone Group planned the event.

Tookes documented the gorgeous affair and shared photos of the day on Instagram. From the looks of it, the shower was a bright and sunny summer day well spent by the pool. The Guest List

The bridal shower was a small and intimate event with the bride-to-be’s closest friends and family members. Tookes’ mother, who was responsible for the shower, was of course in attendance.

Also on the guest list was Josephine Skriver, Tookes’ best friend, fellow Victoria’s Secret model, and co-owner of their shared lifestyle and fitness Instagram account @joja. She took to Instagram to offer her congratulations and document the day. “Can’t wait to see you walk down the aisle,” the model posted on Instagram. “You two are a modern-day fairytale.” She also commented on the exquisite bridal shower setup by writing, “What a stunning bridal shower. @carythestylist, you outdid yourself!”

Tookes gave a shout-out to all of her friends who attended the shower. “Thank you to all my besties for spending this special day with me,” she shared on Instagram. 

The Décor

On the manicured lawn, guests were greeted by a wooden banquet table decorated with a dreamy table runner of pink, yellow, and white roses. Each place setting was set with pink acrylic wine and champagne glasses, a rose pink charger, silk linen napkins, and gold flatware. Wood cross-back chairs were tucked beneath the table.

Another star of the show was a chic lounge area, which provided additional seating options. Plush chairs and an extra-long ottoman surrounded a lucite coffee table with a gold rim. A beautiful bouquet of roses sat in the center of the table.

The entire day took place poolside, and the pool happened to showcase some lovely décor itself! Roses and flower petals were sprinkled on top of the pool, setting a romantic scene.

The Brunch Setup

The options were truly endless at the bridal shower brunch! The bride-to-be’s mother went all out with the most captivating setup full of mouthwatering cuisine. The main meal included avocado toast topped with juicy cherry tomatoes; sandwiches on buttery croissants; a colorful fruit salad with grapes, grapefruit, strawberries, and blackberries; creamy Caesar salad with shaved parmesan; French toast sprinkled with powdered sugar and sliced strawberries; and miniature crab cakes, among other delectable entrées. Everything was displayed on a picnic table, which was decorated with greenery and purple hibiscus flowers.

The food didn’t stop there. For dessert, there were white chocolate-covered strawberries speckled with gold and sugar cookie cutouts, which served as party favors for later or a sweet treat to savor on the spot. Some cookies were monogrammed with the couples’ initials, while others were shaped like hearts or engagement rings. Each cookie was painted in the same color palette of white and gold and featured a rose accent made of icing.

The grand finale? A vibrant watermelon cake! A five-tier watermelon sculpted in the shape of a cake was topped with blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, and grapes. The pop of color and the refreshing treat were both perfect for a summer affair!
