Jack Gleeson is officially married! The Game of Thrones actor tied the knot with Róisín O’Mahony in an intimate ceremony at The Sacred Heart Church in Ireland on Saturday, August 27, 2022.

Father Patsy Lynch, who officiated the wedding, shared the exciting news on Twitter. “Very simple, prayerful, and dignified marriage ceremony for film celebrity Jason [Jack] Gleeson and Roisin: The Glen Church,” the priest wrote alongside photos of himself and the couple.

For the big day, Gleeson donned a green button-up shirt with gray slacks and brown loafers. The actress and comedian sported a pastel patterned dress with simple jewelry, and she held a bouquet of pink hydrangea.

In an interview with Irish Independent, Lynch told the publication that the event was actually a pre-wedding ceremony. “The real ceremony will take place over in England, but the family has been holidaying down here in Ballinskelligs, The Glen, for many years, and they have so many happy memories here,” he explained. “We had a lovely, prayerful, dignified wedding ceremony. Jack texted me this morning to say that it was such a wonderful, moving ceremony, and afterwards, they went for a meal.”

The priest also described the celebration as laid-back and simple, which caused everyone to be in good spirits. During his interview, Lynch noted that Gleeson is surrounded by people who love and support him, which made the ceremony that much more meaningful. “Everyone down here knows Jack, and that shows they’re just part of the whole community,” he said. “When I met him, it was as if we knew each other all our lives. He’s that kind of person. There’s nothing artificial.”

We’re so thrilled for the happy couple, and we can’t wait for the official ceremony!
